“Ben, please do something to ensure our community’s name enters the official list…. Maheshbhai tried so hard to get us plots but, the officials simply refused by saying our community is not on the list of nomadic communities. But Ben, you were saying that we are on the list so how come the officials refused, why is our community still excluded?”

The Bharthari of Banaskantha, Patan and Mehsana survive under abject poverty. They earn their living by singing cradlesongs to the newborns, play the one string Ravan-hatta and make do with the alms they received.

The Banaskantha floods of 2015 were devastating for the homeless families like Bharthari who stayed in makeshift shanties in the banks of the village lake.

Recently, I happen to meet Maniben Bharthari, who had lost all her belongings to the floods. “There was no question of saving our belongings. We barely managed to save our Rationcards, Voter ID cards, raise our hands over the head and walk out of the flood waters. (she describes us how they managed to save their precious documents).

Maniben stays in a shanty and was dreaming of a house, the Bharthari have been included in the official list and they were to receive residential plots. Obtaining the plots would require caste certificate but, when the families reached the government office they found their community missing. The government has added this community to the list but the online update is yet to be happen. Hence, the applications were not accepted and the entire process once again got delayed…..

We have written to the government in this regard. Hopefully there is a solution soon….

“The Panchayat has allotted us houses in 2007-08 but we have preferred to stay in the farm because the quality of construction is so poor that we fear they might come down someday when we are staying inside.”

“Who constructed such poor quality houses?? Did'nt you pay attention when the construction was underway??”

“We weren’t even aware that such houses are being constructed for us!! One day some village elders came to us and told us that our houses were ready and we could move in!!”

That was Varjunbhai Bharthari of Dhanera’s Ravi village narrating us the reasons for 13 Bharthari families opting out of  staying in the houses that the village panchayat has  built for them. The 13 Bharthari families of Ravi village have houses built for them but they have received documents to their plots on which these houses stand yet the panchayat has been giving them receipt to the house tax paid (as seen in the picture). The names of these families featured in the village’s BPL list and apparently the panchayat members decided to build houses for them,  without informing them, under the Indira Awas Scheme. But the quality of construction was so questionable that these families decided against staying there. 

What is difficult to comprehend for the families as well as the VSSM team  is how can anyone take such important  decision of  constructing a house without actually consulting the people who are to benefit from it!! 

The entire episode that has come to light recently shows how vulnerable the illiterate and ignorant nomads are and the  vested interest groups  are always eager and on the prowl  to take advantage of the ignorance of such ignorance!!

We are hoping that our hope in government taking some concrete steps for uplifting vast nomadic population soon comes true. The families are fast losing patience and we want the government to act fast,  before this population chooses to act!!! 

ભરથરી પરિવારોને ઘર મળ્યું પણ...

‘બેન અમન બોધીન આલેલા મકોનમાં જવા અમે સેજેય રાજી નહીં. મકોનમાં ઉપરથી બધુ ખર હ. હાચુ કઉ તો મકોન પડુ પડુ થતુ લાગ એટલે 2007-08માં મકોન બોધીન પંચાયતે આલ્યા પણ અમુ એક રાતેય એ મકોન કાઢી નહીં. અમે ખેતરોમાં જ પડ્યા સીએ.’

‘આવું જર્જરીત મકાન બાંધ્યું કોણે? તમે એ વખતે ધ્યાન નહોતું આપ્યું?’

‘અમુન તો ખબેરય નતી કે અમારા ઘરો થાય સ. આ તો બંધાઈ જ્યા પસી ગોમના મોટા મોણસોએ કીધુ તાર ખબર પડી.’

ધાનેરા તાલુકાના રવીગામમાં રહેતા વર્જુનભાઈ ભરથરીએ ઉપરોક્ત વિગતો જણાવી. સાંભળીને આ પરિવારો સાથે કામ કરવાનું જેમણે માથે લીધુ છે તેવા vssmના કાર્યકર મહેશ અને પરેશ થોડા નિરાશ થયા.રવી ગામમાં ગામથી દૂર ભરથરી પરિવારોના 13 મકાનો બંધાઈ ગયા પણ પ્લોટની સનદ હજુ આ પરિવારો પાસે નથી તેમને પંચાયત દ્વારા ઘર વેરાની પહોંચ આપવામાં આવી છે. જે ફોટોમાં જોઈ શકાય છે. 13 પરિવારોના નામ બી.પી.એલ.યાદીમાં છે એટલે ઈન્દિરા આવાસ યોજના અંતર્ગત તેમના મકાન ગામના જ સરપંચ અને અન્યોએ ભેગા મળીને બનાવી દીધા. પણ ભરથરીને ગમે તેવા મકાન બન્યા નથી તેવું તેમની સાથેની વાત પરથી સ્પષ્ટ જણાય છે એટલે તેઓ ત્યાં જવાય રાજી નથી. વળી મકાન બનીને સીધા આપી દેવાનું થયું તે પણ આ પરિવારો અને અમારી સમજ બહારનું છે. 

વિચરતી જાતિઓ કેવી પરિસ્થિતિમાં જીવી રહી છે તેનો વધારેને વધારેને ખ્યાલ આવતો જાય છે. ક્યાંક તો તેમની અજ્ઞાનતાનો પણ ફાયદો ઉઠાવવામાં આવતો હોય તેવું લાગે છે. 

તકવંચિત પરિવારો અંગે સરકાર નક્કર વિચારશે તે આશા vssm ટીમ રાખી રહી છે. અમે ઈચ્છીએ કે અમારી આશા ફળીભૂત થાય... નહીં તો આ સમુદાયો તો કંટાળ્યા છે. તેઓ નક્કર કદમ ઉઠાવે તે પહેલાં સરકાર દ્વારા નક્કર કામ થાય તેવી અપેક્ષા...

A small settlement consisting of 19 families belonging to the nomadic communitiy of Bharthari-Nathbawa is situated almost 2 kms away from the village of Dabhla in Mehsana’s Vijapur block. While some of these families possessed the ration cards and  voter ID cards other did not have any document of identity proof. VSSM helped the adult members of these families  obtain the voter ID cards. The 7 families who did not have ration cards were also helped in procuring them, their applications were alloted APL ration cards.  

Inspite of the distance from the village, this settling in its periphery is fiercely opposed by the panchyat. The settlement has no infrastructure facilities like power and water, a thorny fence around the settlement  to protect it  from the intrusion of  wild nocturnal animals was also opposed by the Panchayat members. They were threatened to remove it. VSSM has been making efforts to ensure these families get  residential plots for building their own houses. But the attitude of the Panchayat and the villagers is hindering the efforts. As always it is difficult to comprehend such attitude of the villagers!!!

And as alway we shall keep faith in the Panchayat, villagers, authorities and government, we are sure the mindsets will change and they will embrace these Nathbawa families. VSSM’s Tohid  has already began the process of applying for the caste certificates for these families because once they receive the plots these certificates will be required to avail the Government’s aid for building houses. 

નાથબાવા પરિવારોને મળ્યા રેશનકાર્ડ 

મહેસાણાના વિજાપુરતાલુકાના ડાભલાગામમાં ભરથરી – નાથબાવા સમુદાયના ૧૯ પરિવારો ગામથી ૨ કી.મી દુર રહે. અહિયાં રહેતાં કેટલાક પરિવારો પાસે મતદારકાર્ડ અને રેશનકાર્ડ હતા જયારે કેટલાક પાસે નહોતા. vssmની મદદથી તમામ પુખ્તવયના લોકોના મતદારકાર્ડ નીકળી ગયા. જયારે ૭ પરિવારો પાસે રેશનકાર્ડ નહોતા એમને રેશનકાર્ડ મળે એ માટે અરજી કરી અને એમને પણ APL રેશનકાર્ડ ફાળવાયા.

આ પરિવારોના કાયમી વસવાટ સામે આખા ગામનો વિરોધ. વીજળી અને પાણીની પણ સુવિધા નહિ. વસાહતની ફરતે એમણે કંટાળી વાડ પોતાનાં વસવાટના રક્ષણ માટે કરવાનું શરુ કર્યું કે, પંચાયતે આવીને વાડ નહિ કરવાની એક અર્થમાં ધમકી આપી. આ પરિવારોને કાયમી રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ મળે એ માટે vssm કોશીશ કરે છે. કામ મુશ્કેલ છે કેમ કે, કોઈ સહયોગ કરતુ નથી અને આ પરિવારોને ગામમાં કોઈ ઇચ્છતું પણ નથી. એક રીતે ગામથી ઘણો દુર વસવાટ છે છતાં આવો વિરોધ? સમજાતું નથી.

ખેર અમે ગામના લોકો, પંચાયત અને સરકાર સૌમાં શ્રદ્ધા ધરાવીએ છીએ. એટલે જ એમની રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટની અરજી અને એ માટે મેળવવાના થતાં જાતી પ્રમાણપત્રની અરજી તૈયાર કરવાનું vssmના કાર્યકર અને આ બધાના પ્રિય એવા તોહીદે કર્યું. બસ આ પરિવારોને પ્લોટ અને પોતાનું સરસ ઘર ઝડપથી મળે એવી આશા...

The Bharthari families, about 19 of them have been staying on the village wasteland some 1 km away from the actual Dabhla  village for many years now. Their living on this land has not gone well with the villagers. Since they have been here for years the families, some 7 of them could manage to get  ration cards issued and some individuals also have voter ID cards. The families badly wanted  some better infrastructure facilities like power, water, residential plots to build a proper home but did not know where and how to put forward their demands ….Who would stand up and support them  avail some basic infrastructure facilities, was the question troubling them!!??


The families knew  the activities VSSM did and Tohid our team member from Mehsana also knew the families. The leaders amongst these families requested Tohid to come visit their settlement and help  address their issues. Tohid visited the settlement and filled up forms for  Voter ID cards of 5 individuals who were present there and did not have their Voter ID cards, they also needed to divide their ration cards as many families had split but that required proofs from the village revenue officer., “if the villagers become aware of this developments they will not allow us to stay in the village, they aren’t happy with our living here!!” said the worried Bharthari families…Tohid asked them to come to Vijapur where he filed applications for removal of names from the original  ration cards and issuance of new ration cards, basically the applications were for the division of ration cards. He made sure the applications were attached with a note that described the facts so that the families do not face any trouble..

The Bharthari are  hard working folks, most of them are daily wage earners working at Chatral GIDC. They are absolutely yearning to have the basic facilities in their settlement along with the proofs of their existence. When the villagers became aware of the applications they  came to the settlement and threatened to burn it down. This time the families have not budged, with is commendable considering the fact that the Bharthari are otherwise a very timid community. “Burn and bring down everything down we fear nothing, we want basic facilities in our settlement and nothing can deter us for demanding them,, if need be we are prepared to present our case to before senior authorities!!” was the unanimous reply from the community.

The irony of the Bharthari is that inspite of leaving a wandering life they do not feature in the government’s list of nomadic communities hence it becomes difficult for them to avail the benefits intended  for nomads. Once the Bharthari families of Dabhla receive the ration cards we plan to apply for their ration cards but are apprehensive about the outcome of the applications. We have written to the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment for the inclusion of  Bharthari  community in the official list of nomadic communities but all these numerous  appeals haven’t found any success, it makes us wonder if at all in this lifetime these families will be able to live in a house of their own…..

ભરથરી સમુદાય પોતાની વસાહતમાં લાઈટ, પાણીની વ્યવસ્થા થાય, રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ ફાળવાય એ માટે વિચારે પણ રજૂઆત કયા કરવી એ ખબર નહિ. ગામમાં તો ટલાટીથી લઈને અન્ય વગદારોને પણ એમનો વસવાટ ગમે નહિ. આમ એમના પ્રાથમિક પ્રશ્નોમાં મદદરૂપ કોણ થાય એ સૌથી મોટો સવાલ થાય.

મહેસાણા જીલ્લામાં વિચરતા પરિવારો સાથે કામ કરતા કાર્યકર તોહીદને સૌ ઓળખે. ડાભલાના ભરથરી પરિવારોએ પણ તોહીદ અને vssm વિશે સાંભળ્યું અને તોહીદને વસાહતમાં આવવા આગ્રહ કર્યો. તોહીદે આ પરિવારોમાંના મતદારકાર્ડ વિહોણા હાજર હોય એવા ૫ વ્યક્તિના મતદારકાર્ડ માટે ફોર્મ ભર્યા. રેશનકાર્ડ વિભાજન માટે તલાટીનો દાખલો જોઈએ પણ ભરથરી પરિવારોએ કહ્યું, ‘જો ગામના લોકોને ખબર પડશે તો અમને રહેવા નહિ દે એ લોકો અમારા માથે રાજી નથી.’ તોહીદે એમને વિજાપુર બોલાવ્યા અને ત્યાં બે રેશનકાર્ડમાંથી પાંચ પરિવારના નામ કમી કરાવી તેમને અલગ રેશનકાર્ડ મળે એ માટેની અરજી કરી. સાથે સાથે સાચી હકીકિત દર્શાવતી એક અરજી પણ લખી જેથી રેશનકાર્ડમાં ક્યાંક તકલીફ ના ઉભી થાય.

ભરથરી પરિવારો મહેનતુ છે. બધા જ લોકો છત્રાલ GIDCમાં છૂટક મજૂરી કરે છે. આ પરિવારો રેશનકાર્ડ, મતદારકાર્ડ, પ્લોટ અને ઘર માટે તરસી રહ્યાં છે પણ એમની આ લાગણી કોઈ સમજતું નથી.. ગામમાં vssmના કામની કેટલાકને ખબર પડી તો તેઓ વસાહતમાં આવીને બધું સળગાવી દઈશું એવી ધમકી આપી ગયા.. જોકે સ્વભાવે ગભરુ એવા ભરથરી પરિવારોએ આ વખતે ગામલોકોને ‘સળગાવવું હોય તો સળગાવી દો પણ હવે અમને પ્રાથમિક સુવિધા તો મળવી જ જોઈએ અને એ નહિ મળે તો અમે બહાર જઈને પણ રજૂઆત કરીશું’ એમ સ્પસ્ટ કહી દીધું.

ભરથરી પરિવારોની સંખ્યા ગુજરાતમાં ઘણી છે અને એમનું જીવન પણ વિચરતું જ છે છતાં સરકાર દ્વારા એમને વિચરતી જાતિની યાદીમાં દાખલ કર્યા નથી એટલે એમને વિચરતી જાતિને મળતા મર્યાદિત લાભો મેળવવામાં તકલીફ પડે છે.. ડાભલાના ભરથરી પરિવારોને રેશનકાર્ડ મળી જાય પછી પ્લોટ માટેની દરખાસ્ત કરીશું. પણ વિચરતી જાતિની યાદીમાં નહોવાના કારણે પ્લોટ માટેની દરખાસ્તનું શુ થશે એ પ્રશ્ન છે.. સામાજિક ન્યાય અને આધીકારીતા વિભાગમાં આ જાતિને વિચરતી જાતિમાં દાખલ કરવા કેટલું લખ્યું પણ કશું થતું નથી... ક્યારેક પ્રશ્ન થાય છે આ પરિવારોને એમની હયાતીમાં પોતાનું ઘર મળશે? કે પછી....

Four families of Bharthari community live in villages like Sutharnesadi, of Banaskhanta District’s Bhabhar taluka. These families live in a very bad and pitiable state of life. They beg by playing the musical instrument like Ravanhaththa and have settled for a long period in this village. They roam for business and work, but come back to stay and live in this village. They did not have voter id card, ration card etc as proof of identity. Moreover, the village people had objection to give proof and identity of their village.

These families came into contact with vssm and worker Naran got them the voter id cards and the ration cards. Now they needed to be allotted plots for residence. But the government , rejected and filed their request and application for allotment of residential plots, to these ever moving and wandering families, being unstable, and these Bharthari families were not considered for enrollment in Nomadic Tribes and De-Notified Tribes (NT & DNT) category. 

Proposal and request is already made to government to include them in NT and DNT. Apart from this, all these families should be included in the BPL list so as to be eligible for plots and houses, which matter is also taken up by a suitable proposal.

As such, looking to the conditions in which the Bharthari families live now, they should and must have had been included in the BPL list. But nobody came into their contact and reached to inform and explain, or since they were not accepted as part of the village, they were excluded from the list. We desire and hope that these families, be included in the BPL list and be categorized in the NT & DNT list.

It can be seen in the photograph, that vssm’s worker Naran, is preparing the proposal of the BPL list for these families as well as in the other one the condition in which they live.

બનાસકાંઠા જીલ્લાના ભાભર તાલુકાના સુથારનેસડીગામમાં ભરથરી સમુદાયના ચાર પરિવારો રહે છે.  આ પરિવારો ખુબ ખરાબ સ્થિતિમાં રહે છે.  રાવણહથ્થો વગાડીને ભીખ માંગવાનું કરતાં આ પરિવારો છેલ્લા ઘણા સમયથી આ ગામમાં આવીને રહ્યાં છે. કામ ધંધા માટે વિચરણ કરે પણ પાછા આવીને આજ ગામમાં રહે. મતદારકાર્ડ, રેશનકાર્ડ વગેરે આધાર પુરાવા એમની પાસે નહોતા. વળી ગામલોકોનો પણ પોતાના ગામના આધાર પુરાવા આપવા સામે વિરોધ. 

vssmના સંપર્કમાં આ પરિવારો આવ્યાં અને કાર્યકર નારણે ભરથરી પરિવારોને મતદારકાર્ડ અને રેશનકાર્ડ અપાવ્યા. હવે એમને રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ ફળવાયા એ જરૂરી હતું. પણ સરકાર દ્વારા સદાય વીચરતું જીવન જીવતા ભરથરી પરિવારોનો વિચરતી જાતિમાં સમાવેશ થતો નથી એમ કહીને એમની પ્લોટ માટેની દરખાસ્ત ખારીજ કરી દીધી.

વિચરતી જાતિમાં એમનો સમાવેશ થાય એ માટે અમે સરકારમાં રજૂઆત કરી છે. આ સિવાય આ પરિવારોના નામ BPL યાદીમાં આવી જાય તો પણ એમને પ્લોટ અને ઘર મળી શકે એટલે એ માટેની દરખાસ્ત કરવાનું પણ કર્યું છે. 

આમ તો ભરથરી પરિવારો જે સ્થિતિમાં રહે છે એ જોતા એમનો સમાવેશ BPL યાદીમાં થવો જ જોઈતો હતો પણ એમના સુધી કોઈ પહોચ્યું જ નહિ અથવા એમને ગામનો હિસ્સો ના ગણ્યા હોવાના કારણે એ લોકો યાદીમાં આવ્યાં નહિ. અમે ઇચ્છીએ કે આ પરિવારો BPL યાદીમાં તો આવે સાથે સાથે એમનો સમાવેશ વિચરતી જાતિની યાદીમાં પણ થાય. 

vssmના કાર્યકર નારણ આ પરિવારોની BPL યાદી માટેની દરખાસ્ત તૈયાર જોઈ શકાય છે. જયારે અન્યમાં આ પરિવારો જે સ્થિતિમાં રહે છે એ જોઈ શકાય છે.

On 5th May 2015 I happen to visit a settlement in Diyodar. 48 families from here had recently been allotted Antyoday and BPL Ration Cards for Nomadic Tribes of Gujarat. I also had an opportunity to distribute the newly allotted cards. A conversation with one of the recipients  from Bharthari Community Devabhai Bharthari remained in my thoughts. He was all happy and cheery on receiving the ration card. Access to many of the government welfare schemes would be much easy now. “I had spend Rs. 1000 to get this card and still couldn’t get it, but the Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch -VSSM and Naranbhai (VSSM team member)  made it possible. I lost my young son Dinesh to cancer, I was left absolutely helpless but the organisation stood by me. I had lost the courage to take care of Dinesh’s young widow Narmada  and their 6 month old daughter.  Naranbhai worked hard to ensure that Narmada starts receiving widow pension. She atleast has some regular income. Now that we have our names in BPL list and an Antyoday card my worries will decrease considerably. I am trying to convince Narmada to remarry and start life afresh but she isn’t ready to do so, she is like a daughter to me now and I have to take care of her. I work errands and  earn a little. Had we met earlier (with the organisation) my son wouldn’t have had succumbed to cancer. God’s wish!!” some heart churning account by Devabhai, listening to which gave a sense of comfort that our efforts are such a help to families like Devabhai’s.

તા.૫ મે ૨૦૧૫ના રોજ દિયોદરમાં વિચરતા પરિવારોની વસાહતમાં જવાનું થયું. ૪૮ પરિવારોને અંત્યોદય અને BPL રેશનકાર્ડ મળ્યાં હતાં એનું વિતરણ પણ કર્યું. જેમને કાર્ડ મળ્યાં હતાં એમાં દેવાભાઈ ભરથરી પણ હતાં. કાર્ડ મળવાથી એ ખુબ ખુશ હતાં. તેમણે પોતાની વાત કરતાં કહ્યું, ‘ રેશનકાર્ડ મેળવવા રૂ.૧,૦૦૦ ખર્ચી નાખ્યા છતાં કાર્ડ મળતું નહોતું. સંસ્થા અને નારણભાઈ(vssmના કાર્યકર)ના હોય તો અમને આ કાર્ડ મળે જ નહિ.. મારો જુવાન દીકરો દિનેશ કેન્સરની બિમારીમાં મરી ગયો. હું નોંધારો થઇ ગયો પણ સંસ્થા મારી પડખે ઉભી રહી. દિનેશની વહુ નર્મદા અને એની ૬ મહિનાની દીકરીની જવાબદારી મારા માથે આવી. હિમ્મત હારી ગયો હતો પણ નારણભાઈએ મારી વહુનું પેન્શન બાંધી આપવામાં મદદ કરી. હવે અંત્યોદય કાર્ડ અપાવ્યું અને મારું નામ પણ BPL યાદીમાં દાખલ થયું. હવે બહુ ચિંતા નથી. નર્મદાને બીજું ઘર કરવા સમજાવું છું પણ એને બીજે જવું નથી એટલે એને દીકરીની જેમ સાચવું છું. નાનું મોટું કામ પણ કરુ છું એમાંથી પણ આવક થાય છે. સંસ્થા અમને મોડી મળી વહેલાં મળી હોત તો કદાચ દિનેશ આજે જીવતો હોત.. પણ ભગવાનને જે ગમ્યું તે ખરું..’

દેવાભાઈના મોઢેથી આ વાત સાંભળીને નિરાંત અનુભવાય છે.. કોઈ પણ વંચિત પરિવારને આપણા કાર્યથી આનંદ થાય એનાથી વિશેષ સંતોષની વાત એકેય નથી હોતી... 

દેવાભાઈને કાર્ડ આપવામાં સરકાર અને નારણ થકી મારે નિમિત બનવાનું થયું...

Antoday and BPL Ration Cards for Bharthari and Nathwadi Nomadic Families
from Diyodar, Paldi, Vatam, Duchakvada villages of Bandaskantha

Nomadic families living in Banaskantha’s  villages of Vatam, Duchakvada, Paldi and Diyodar, belonging to the communities of Bharthari and Nathwadi received Antyoday and BPL ration cards recently.  22 families received Antyoday cards and 26 families received BPL ration cards.  These families lived on begging and these cards will atleast assure Food Security to their families. VSSM’s Naranbhai worked tirelessly to accomplish this challenging task of acquiring Antyoday and BPL cards. 

Equally important was the help and contribution of government officials without whose support this task would have been impossible to realise.  The extremely compassionate District Civil Supplies Officer Ms. Ansuyaben, Mamlatdar Shri. J. K. Dabhi, Additional Officer Shri. A. A. Gohil and Shri. B. A. Gujjar who took charge of Shri. Gohil’s portfolio on his transfer. Viralbhai and Shitalbhai who worked until late night to complete  the necessary paperwork once it was decided the families be allotted these cards.

વિચરતા સમુદાયના ૪૮ પરિવારોને અંત્યોદય અને BPL રેશનકાર્ડ મળ્યાં..

બનાસકાંઠાના દિયોદર, વાતમ, ડુચકવાડા અને પાલડીમાં રહેતાં વિચરતી જાતિનાં ૨૨ પરિવારોને અંત્યોદય અને ૨૬ પરિવારોને BPL રેશનકાર્ડ આપવામાં આવ્યાં. આ પરિવારોમાંના ભરથરી તથા નાથવાદી પરિવારો તો ભિક્ષામાંગીને ગુજારો કરે છે તેમના માટે આ રેશનકાર્ડ આશિર્વાદરૂપ સાબિત થશે. આમ તો BPL કે અંત્યોદય રેશનકાર્ડ મેળવવાનું કામ ખુબ કપરું છે. પણ vssmના સંનિષ્ઠ કાર્યકર નારણની મહેનતથી આ બધુ શક્ય બન્યું. 

આ પરિવારો માટે અપાર લાગણી ધરાવતાં જીલ્લા પુરવઠા અધિકારી શ્રી અનસૂયાબહેન, મામતદાર શ્રી જે.કે. ડાભી, નાયબ પુરવઠા અધિકારી શ્રી એ.એ. ગોહિલ અને એમની બદલી થતાં તેમની જગ્યા પર આવેલાં અધિકારી શ્રી બી.એ. ગજ્જરની મદદ વગર આ બધું થવું અશક્ય હતું. આ પરિવારોને અંત્યોદય રેશનકાર્ડ આપવાનું નક્કી થયું કે જરાય આળસ કર્યા વગર ખુબ ઉત્સાહથી મોડે સુધી બેસીને ક્લાર્ક વિરલભાઈ અને શીતલભાઈએ તત્લ્કાલ રેશનકાર્ડનું કામ પુરુ કરાવ્યું.. vssm અને આ પરિવારો વતી અમે સમગ્ર બનાસકાંઠા વહીવટી તંત્રનો આભાર માનીયે છીએ..કે જેમના કારણે આ બધું શક્ય બન્યું..
