"Ben, if you have time, let's go and meet our relative in Soni village."

After agreeing, we reached Soni in Diyodar. We entered the Dalit neighborhood of the village. The entire area was very clean. Seeing us, many people came out of their houses. We were heading towards one particular house. The porch of the house was covered with plastic tarpaulin. It gets very cold in Banaskantha, so this is a way to protect against the cold.

We entered the house. In the porch, there were two cots, one with an elderly woman sitting on it and the other with her son lying down, his head upside down, smiling softly.

Our worker, Naranbhai, said, "Dahiba is having trouble breathing. Her health is also not good. Her son is disabled. We provide them with rations, and the government gives her a widow pension of a thousand rupees, which helps the family."

Dahiba needs regular medication. A compassionate person from the village regularly brings her medicine for free. A well-wisher of VSSM, Ashwinbhai, on time, sends rations for Dahiba. When we have such compassionate people for the needy, our work becomes easier.

Dahiba spent her whole life doing agricultural labor, but now she can't work anymore. No one in the family is able to earn and provide for her. To ensure that she doesn't go hungry, we give her rations. Otherwise, it wouldn't be appropriate to say this, but we do this out of necessity.

Dear Ashwinbhai Chaudhary, who lives in Palanpur, has helped in providing rations for Dahiba. Ashwinbhai distributes rations to around 100 such relatives. We are grateful for sensitive individuals like him. From a very young age, he has been dedicated to the service of others.

Every month, we deliver rations to 600 destitute elderly people. If all of you could also participate in this work, we could reach many more underprivileged individuals.

 "દીદી સમય છે તો આપણે સોની ગામમાં આવેલા આપણા માવતરને મળી લઈએ."

મે હા પાડીને અમે પહોંચ્યા દિયોદરના સોનીમાં. ગામના દલીત વાસમાં અમે પ્રવેશ્યા. આખો વાસ એકદમ ચોખ્ખો. અમને આવેલા જોઈને કેટલાય લોકો ઘરની બહાર આવ્યા. અમે એક ઘરની નજીક જઈ રહ્યા હતા. એ ઘરની ઓસરી પ્લાસ્ટિકની તારપોલીનથી કવર કરેલી. બનાસકાંઠામાં ટાઢ ખુબ પડે એટલે ક્યાંક ઠંડીથી બચવાનો આ જુગાડ.

અમે ઘરમાં પ્રવેશ્યા. ઓસરીમાં બે ખાટલા ઢાળેલા એકમાં એક બા બેઠેલા ને બીજામાં એમનો દીકરો ઊંધું માથું કરીને મંદ મંદ હસ્યા કરે. 

અમારા કાર્યકર નારણભાઈએ કહ્યું, "ડાહીબાને શ્વાસ ચડે. તબીયત પણ ઠીક નથી રહેતી. એમનો દીકરો દિવ્યાંગ. આપણે રાશન આપીએ અને સરકાર દ્વારા વિધવા પેન્શન ના હજાર રૃપિયા આવે એનાથી ઘર ચાલે."

બાને દવાઓની નિયમીત જરૃર પડે. તે ગામના સેવાભાવી વ્યક્તિ બાને નિયમીત વિનામુલ્યે દવા આપી જાય. VSSMના શુભેચ્છક સ્વજન એવા અશ્વિનભાઈ સમયસર અમારા વતી બાને રાશનની કીટ પહોંચાડે. દરિદ્રનારાયણ માટે અનુકંપા ધરાવનાર આવા વ્યક્તિઓ હોય તો અમારા કામો પણ સરળ થઈ જાય. 

બાએ આખી જીંદગી ખેતમજૂરી કરી. પણ હવે કામ નથી થતું. પરિવારમાં કમાઈને ખવડાવે એવું કોઈ નહીં. એમને ઓશિયાળી ન રહે માટે અમે રાશન આપીએ.. આમ તો અમે એવું કહેવું પણ ઉચીત નહીં. નિમિત્ત બનીએ એવું કહેવું યોગ્ય.

પ્રિય અશ્લિનભાઈ ચૌધરી પાલનપુરમાં રહે એમણે આ બાને રાશન આપવામાં મદદ કરે. અશ્વિનભાઈ 100 જેવા માવતરોને રાશન આપે. એમના જેવા સંવેદનશીલ વ્યક્તિના અમે આભારી છીએ. બહુ નાની ઉંમરથી એમણે સેવાના ક્ષેત્રમાં પગરણ માંડ્યા છે. 

600 નિરાધાર બા દાદાઓને અમે દર મહિને રાશન પહોંચાડીએ. તમે સૌ પણ આ કાર્યમાં સહભાગી બની શકો તો આવા અનેક તકવંચિતો સુધી આપણે પહોંચી શકીશું.. 

આવા કાર્યમાં નિમિત્ત બનાવનાર કુદરતના અમે આભારી...

Amidst all concrete houses was this house made with wet mud. It had no electricity connection. Kerosene lamps seen in the old days were still used. As soon as one enters this house one could find such kerosene lamps. Now that kerosene is not available then how do these lamps light ?

Babuma who stays alone in this house replied that she lights the lamp with diesel. I heard for the first time that one could light a lamp with diesel. One could see many vessels arranged in the house. At one time many guests used to come to this house.  In fact there were many members of the family and the house was always abuzz with activity. 

With two Sons and a husband the life was going on without much problem. But unfortunately both the sons expired because of local infectious disease and soon the husband expired too..Other relations had no time for Babuma. Babuma was now alone. She did some labour jobs and earned money which took care of her needs. But now with age she was getting tired. She could not get work either. She was dependent on the she got on the ration card.However that was not enough. It was not in her nature to ask for favours.. 

Our associate Shri Rajnibhai came to know about Babuma staying in Pingjal village of Kheda district.He met Babuma and Babuma requested that if she could get a month's ration that would be enough and she would not have to depend on others. We at VSSM started giving ration to her every month. Babuma is now much more comfortable.

We take care of 600 such old parents who do not have anyone to take care of them. You can be a guardian to them . Many write to us about such old people in various villages. However it is not always possible for us to reach them. However if society helps we can help even a thousand such dependent old parents.

 બહુ બધા પાક્કા મકાનોની વચ્ચે એક ગાર માટીમાંથી બનાવેલું નાનકડુ મકાન ઊભેલું. ઘરમાં વીજળીની સુવિધા નહીં.  નાનપણમાં જોયેલો ઘાસતેલનો દિવો આ ઘરમાં પ્રવેશીયે કે નાનકડી છાજલીમાં મુકેલો ભળાય. હવે કેરોસીન તો મળતું નથી તો આ દિવો પ્રગટે શેનાથી?

જવાબમાં આ ઘરમાં રહેતા એકલા અટુલા બબુમાએ કહ્યું ડીઝલથી. ડીઝલથી દિવો બળે એ પહેલીવાર સાંભળ્યું. નાનકડુ ઘર એમાં અભરાઈ પર ઘણી થાળી વાટકીઓ ગોઠવેલી. એક વખતે આ ઘરમાં ઘણા મહેમાનો આવતા. અલબત ઘરમાં વસ્તાર પણ હતો એટલે ઘર ધમધમતુ હતું. મજૂરી કરીને પેટિયું રળતા બબુમાનો સંસાર ભર્યોભાદર્યો હતો. 

બે દિકરા ને પતિ સાથે જીંદગી ઠીકઠાક જઈ રહી ત્યાં દિકરાને બળિયાબાપજી નીકળ્યા ને એ દુનિયા છોડી ગયો. બીજો પણ એજ રીતે બિમારીમાં ગયો. પછી તો કાકા પણ ગયા ને બબુમા એકલા રહી ગયા. 

કુટુંબના બધા ખરા એ થોડું ધ્યાન આપે. પણ બબુમા એકલા થઈ ગયા. મજૂરી મળે એ કરે ને જીવન પસાર થાય. પણ હવે હાથપગ થાક્યા. કામ પણ ન મળે. રેશનકાર્ડ પર મળતા અનાજ પર નભે.. પણ પુરુ ન થાય. વળી બબુમાને કોઈ પાસે માંગવું ન ગમે.

આવા ખેડાના પીંગળજમાં રહેતા બબુમા વિષે અમારા કાર્યકર રજનીભાઈને ખ્યાલ આવ્યો. એ એમને મળ્યા ને બાએ કહ્યું મહિનાનું રાશન મળી જાય તો મને ઠીક કરે કોઈની ઓશળિયા વેઠવાની ન થાય.

અમે દર મહિને રાશન પહોંચાડવાનું શરૃ કર્યું. હવે બબુમાના જીવને નિરાંત છે..

ચાકરી કરનાર કોઈ ન હોય તેવા 600 નિરાધાર બા દાદાઓને અમે દર મહિને રાશન આપીયે તમે પણ એમના પાલક બની શકો. 

ઘણા સ્વજનો અમને ફલાણા ગામમાં આવા જ એક બા છે કે દાદા છે તમે મદદ કરોનું લખી મોકલે પણ અમે બધે પહોંચી ન વળીએ. પણ હા સમાજ સહયોગ કરે અને આવા બા દાદાઓના એ એક એક કરીને પાલક બને તો છસો શું હજાર માવતરોને મદદ કરી શકાય.

પાલક બનવા 90999-36013 પર 10 થી 6માં સંપર્ક કરી શકાય. કોઈ કારણસર ફોન ન ઉપડે તો વોટસઅપમાં મેસેજ કરી શકાય..

નિરાધાર ઘણા છે જેમને ઘડપણમાં લાઠીની જરૃર છે. આ અભીયાનમાં જોડાઈ એમની ઘડપણની લાઠી બનવા આપ સૌને વિનંતી.

 "I got a paralytic attack. My face has got twisted. How will I sing Bhajans ? Whatever pain you want to give you can but just see that I am able to sing Bhajans in your praise till I die."

Gajraba from Village Chitrasar in Kheda District was for the first time asking some favour from the God. She became a widow at a very young age and raised six children single handedly. In Spite of all the difficulties she never asked for any favour from God. She never complained to Him. Her only wish was that God remain with her.

For the first time she prayed to God to help her recover from paralysis that struck her. God listened to her and she recovered.

Gajraba has lost five of her children in her lifetime. She is obviously very sad about it. One daughter is with her. However she faces great difficulties to get proper food. She doesn't like to ask anyone for help. Infact her self respect is such that if any hungry person comes to her, she will somehow manage to feed that person even if its the last grain in her storage.  . 

Such a lady unfortunately stays in a temporary shed. She desires a permanent home but she has no money for it. She never asked God about it. However God takes care of His disciples One day a brick layer came to her village. He asked Gajraba to take some broken bricks which were lying unused from which she could build her house.  

Gajraba built a good home out of the bricks she had. She even decorated the house. She said it seemed Lord Ram had come to help her build the house.

 Faith gives strength to a person to live life. When one meets Gajraba one can realise how true this statement is. Who would support Gajraba in her old age was a big question. She said "My God sent you" referring to me. With the help of all our donors like you we are able to give ration kit to Gajraba every month. Our associate Rajnibhai takes proper care of Gajraba.

'આ લકવો આલ્યો, મારુ મુઢુ વોકુ થઈ જ્યું તે મુ તારુ ભજન ચમનું ગઈશ? બીજુ જે દુઃખ આલવું હોય એ આલ પણ તારુ ભજન તો મુ મરતા હુદી ગાયા કરુ એવું કોક કર...'

ખેડાના ચિત્રાસરના ખુબ અભાવમાં રહેતા ગજરાબાએ  જિંદીગમાં પહેલીવાર ભગવાન પાસે કશુંક માંગ્યું. રહેવા સરખુ ઘર નહીં. ખુબ નાની ઉંમરે વિધવા થયેલા. છ સંતાનોને એમણે એકલે હાથે મોટા કર્યા છતાં ક્યારેય ભગવાન પાસે મને આવું આપજે, તેવું આપજે. આવું દુઃખ કેમ આપ્યું એવી કોઈ ફરિયાદ એમણે ક્યારેય કરી નહીં. બસ મારી સાથે રહેજે એ એક જ વાત ને એ જાણે રામને પ્રત્યક્ષ જુએ.. 

ગજરાબાને લકવો પડ્યો ને ભજન ગાવાનું બંધ થયું. ત્યારે પહેલીવાર ભજન ગાવા લકવો ઠીક કરવા પ્રાર્થના કરી ને ભગવાને એ પ્રાર્થના સાંભળી. એ લકવામાંથી બેઠા થઈ ગયા.

આવા ગજરાબાના પાંચ સંતાનો તેમની હાજરીમાં જ ગયા. એનું એમને ભારે દુઃખ. એક દિકરી એમની પાસે છે. પણ ખાવા પીવાની બાને ઘણી ઓશિયાળી. કોઈ પાસે માંગવું ગમે નહીં. અલબત કોઈ ભૂખ્યું એમના આંગણે આવે તો એને પાછા  ભૂખ્યા જવા પણ ન દે..

દાણા ભરવાની કોઠીમાં પડેલા દાણા ખતમ થઈ જાય તો છેલ્લે પડેલા દાણા ઉસેડીને એ ભૂખ્યા જનને આપે.

આવી પરોપકારની ભાવના રાખનાર ગજરાબા છાપરાંમાં રહેતા. મનમાં ભાવના પાક્કા ઘરની ખરી પણ પૈસા નહીં પણ ભગવાન પાસે એમણે ઘર ન માંગ્યું.

જો કે ભગવાન ભક્તોનું ધ્યાન રાખે. એક દિવસ ગામમાં ઈંટવાડો કરેલા એક ભાઈ આવ્યા ને ગજરાબાને ઈંટોના ટુકડા ઈંટવાડામાં પડ્યા છે એ લઈ જવા કહ્યું જેથી ઘર થઈ શકે. ઈંટોના એ ટુકડાથી ગજરાબાએ ગાર માટીનું સરસ ઘર કર્યું. એમણે એને સરસ સજાવ્યું પણ ખરુ. બા કહે, જાણે મારો રામ ઈંટો ચણવા આવ્યો હોય એવું એ વખતે તો લાગેલું..

શ્રદ્ધા માણસને જીવાડે એ વાત ગજરાબાને મળીએ ત્યારે સો ટકાની લાગે. બાને ઘડપણની લાઠી કોણ બનશે એ પ્રશ્ન હતો ને બા કહે, મારા રામે તમને મોકલી આપ્યા. VSSM તમારા સૌ સ્વજનોની મદદથી બાને દર મહિને રાશન આપે. અમારા કાર્યકર રજનીભાઈ બાનું બરાબર ધ્યાન રાખે...

"She is not going to die soon. Her father lived for 110 years & her mother lived for 105 years" So said a man with a smile  covered in a blanket  sleeping on the bed about a lady sitting on a cot in another room. Lady replied that one lives as destined. We cannot decide when we should die.

"You are 105, yet your ears are quite sharp "  

On hearing what I said, another lady said that even her eyes are equally sharp. 

How are you related to the lady I asked. She said she and the other man sleeping on the cot are the children of the lady. She is our mother.. I was surprised to hear this.

In Bedgam village in Jamnagar lived these 3 dependent adults. They had support of each other but all three were unable to work and earn a livelihood.The man sleeping on the cot Anwarbhai did not have the vision and had difficulty getting up. His sister cooked for all three of them.

How important is the pension received from the government can be understood when we meet such families. From  Rs 1000 each received as old age pension, they meet their expenses. Before the Ration Card there was an APL card. Our colleague Anwarbhai helped them get an "antyodaya ration card" . They had difficulty getting the ration from the shop. This type of ration card had the facility of a guardian who could pick up the ration on their behalf . We shall try and arrange for this.

Anwarbhai enjoyed listening to the radio. He listened to devotional songs and cricket commentary.. He always has a radio next to his bed.

When we came to know about the condition of this family, we arranged to deliver the ration kit to them regularly under our food-kit program for the elderly.  Now they are in a comfortable position as they get the food kit regularly delivered by Ghulambhai before the one is exhausted. 

The door of the house in which this family stays is always closed from outside. Anyone who wants to come has to open it from outside and go in. Else no one from the family goes out of the house. Extra-ordinary situation which makes me sad.

When I asked  if any one in the village offered any help , Anwarbhai replied he wanted to shave but....

He did not speak any further but I could understand what he wanted to say. What does one say of the society which does not recognise the pain of their neighbours. Much to ponder.

'એ કાંઈ એમ મરવાની નથી.. એના બાપા એકસો દસે અને મા એકસો પાંચે ગ્યા. તે એય એકસો પાંચે પોગી..' પથારીમાં ગોદડુ ઓઢી સુતેલા ભાઈએ અંદરના ઓરડામાં ખાટલામાં બેઠેલા માડી માટે જરા હસીને આ કહ્યું. 

સાંભળીને માડી; 'તે લયખુ હોય એટલું જીવવુ તો પડસે જ ને એમ કાંઈ આપણા કીધે ઈ થોડો તેડના આવે?'

'માડી તમારે એકસો પાંચ થ્યા તો પણ તમારા કાન એકદમ સરવા છે..'

મારી વાત સાંભળી હું જ્યાં બેઠી હતી તે ઓસરીમાં ખાટલા પર બેઠેલા બેહેને કહ્યું, 'કાન એકલા જ નહીં એની આંખો પણ એવી તેજ..'

'તમે માડીના કોણ થાવ?'

'હું અને આ પથારીમાં પયડો ઈ. અમે એના સોકરાં. એ અમારી મા'.

સાંભળીને ઓહ બોલાઈ ગયું.

જામનગરનું બેડગામ. ત્યાં આ ત્રણે નિરાધાર. આમ તો નિરાધાર ન કહેવાય. ત્રણેયને એકબીજાનો આશરો હતો. પણ કામ ત્રણેમાંથી એકેય કરી શકે એમ નહોતા. માડી અને પથારીમાં સુતેલા દૃષ્ટિહીન અનવરભાઈને તો ઊભા થવામાંય તકલીફ. એમના બહેન રસોઈ કરેને આ બેયને ખવડાવે.

સરકાર દ્વારા મળતું પેન્શન આવા પરિવારો માટે કેટલું અગત્યનું એ આવા પરિવારોને મળીયે ત્યારે સમજાય. ભાઈ બહેનને 1000-1000 એ લોકોની ભાષામાં બુઢા(વૃદ્ધ) પેન્શન પેટે મળે તે એમાંથી એ પોતાનો ખર્ચો કાઢે. 

રેશનકાર્ડ પહેલાં APL હતું. અમારા કાર્યકર ગુલામભાઈએ એમને અંત્યોદય રાશનકાર્ડ કરાવી દીધું. પણ રાશન લેવા જવામાં એમને તકલીફ. રાશનકાર્ડમાં આવા પરિવારો માટે ગાર્ડિયનની જોગવાઈ છે અમે એની તપાસ કરી એ ગોઠવાય તેવા પ્રયત્નો કરીશું.

અનવરભાઈ રેડિયો સાંભળવાના શોખીન. ખાસ ક્રિકેટ અને ભજનો સાંભળવા ગમે. તે રેડિયો એમની પથારીની બાજુમાં જ રહે. 

આ પરિવારની સ્થિતિ અંગે અમને ખ્યાલ આવ્યો અમે માવજત કાર્યક્રમ અંતર્ગત રાશન આપવાનું શરૃ કર્યું. હવે એમને ઘણી નિરાંત છે. માડીએ કહ્યું, 'હવે ખૂટશે તો હું થાશેની ચિંતા નથ. ખૂટે એ પહેલાં જ ગુલામભાઈ દઈ જાય.'

આ પરિવાર જે ઘરમાં રહે તે ઘરનો દરવાજો પણ બહારથી બંધ. કોઈએ આવવું હોય તો બહારથી ખોલીને આવવાનું બાકી આ ઘરમાંથી કોઈ ઘર ખોલીને બહાર જતું નથી...

જબરી સ્થિતિ.. જોઈને મન ખીન્ન થઈ જાય..

ગામમાં કોઈ મદદ કરે એવું પુછ્યું તો અનવરભાઈ કહે, મારે દાઢી કરાવવી છે પણ....

આગળ એ કશું બોલ્યા નહીં ને ન બોલેલું અમે સમજી ગયા. જે સમાજ પોતાની આસપાસ રહેનારની પીડા નથી સમજતો તે સમાજ વિષે શું કહેવું? વિચારવું રહ્યું....

Dada, What are you going to prepare to eat during Diwali ?

 "There is no Diwali for us . Diwali is only for those who have money".

The reply from Dharamsikaka from Matpura Village in Banaskantha left us both with nothing more to say in this matter. Left us speechless.  Dharamsikaka's wife said " everyone celebrates  festivals according to their capacity. We have no money to buy sweets. We just dissolve some jaggery in hot water and dip puri in it and eat. That is our sweet."

Dharamsikaka said "I love Bhajiyas but do not have the ingredients required to make Bhajiyas. I look forward to enjoying them but cannot. I hope our lives end soon. We are tired." 

It is very difficult for any one to control the emotions after listening to all these. Tears welled in my eyes. 

This incident was of Diwali 2022.We at VSSM had then decided that to all the elders whom we are supporting by giving them food kits we shall also provide all with Jaggery, Ghee, Gram flour & more oil. This will make it possible for them to prepare some sweet delicacy during Diwali. This Diwali we decided to give them all these ingredients. However this meant an additional expense of more than Rs 500/- over & above Rs 1500/- for the regular kit that we give.  For 600 such families the additional cost would be about Rs 3.50 lakhs.

Before we could even appeal for this, our well wishers proactively responded. Shri Chandrakantbhai & Pinkiben Patel from Surat, Shri Pratulbhai Shroff from Dr K R Shroff Foundation in Ahmedabad, Shri Viralbhai Shah from Dubai and Shri Kishorebhai Patel from USA  all came forward & contributed towards the additional cost. Shri Pankajbhai also gave us 40 packets of sweets. We at VSSM could reach all the 600 families to enable them to prepare whatever they like. 

I am thankful to you all for your kind sentiments. You all have celebrated Diwali in a right manner. Wishing you all a Diwali that fills your lives with joy.

 ‘દાદા દિવાળી છે તો શું બનાવીને ખાવાના?’

‘અમારે વળી દિવાળી કેવી?  જેની પાસે પૈસા હોય એને દિવાળી. બાકી...’

બનાસકાંઠાના માતપુરાગામના ધરમશીકાકા આગળ કશું બોલી ન શક્યા ને હુંયે આગળ કશું પુછી ન શકી. ત્યાં કાકાના ઘરવાળા બોલ્યા, ‘સૌ પોત પોતાની રીતે પરબલાં ઊજવે. અમારી પાહે મીઠાઈ ખરીદવા પૈસા ન હોય. ઘરમાં ગોળ પડ્યો હોય એનું પાણી કરીએ અને હુવાળિયો(પુરી) બનાવી એ પાણીમાં બોળી દઈએ એ અમારી મીઠાઈ.’

ત્યાં ધરમશીકાકાએ કહ્યું, ‘મને ભજીયા ખુબ ગમે પણ તેલ ને ચણાના લોટની વેત નહીં. જીભને ચટકો થાય પણ હું કરીએ.. ભગવાન હવે લઈ લે તો હારુ.. થાક્યા છીએ..’

ધરમશીકાકાની આ બધી વાતો સાઁભળી હું શૂન્ય થઈ ગયેલી. કોઈ પણ સંવેદનશીલ વ્યક્તિની આંખોમાંથી આ બધુ સાંભળી આંસુ ડોક્યા વગર ન રહે. 

આ વાત 2022ની દિવાળી વખતની. એ વખતે નક્કી કરેલું કે અમે જે માવતરોને સાચવીયે જેમને દર મહિને રાશન આપીયે તે તમામ માવતરોની દિવાળી એમને ગમે એવી ઊજવાય એ માટે મીઠાઈ તેમજ ગોળ, ઘી, ચણાનો લોટ, વધારાનું તેલ, લાપસી રાંધી શકાય એ માટે ભૈઈડકુ આપવું. આપ સૌ સ્વજનોની મદદથી અમે ગયા વર્ષે આપ્યું પણ ખરુ.

આ વર્ષે પણ આ બધુ આપવાનું આયોજન કર્યું.

પણ ખર્ચો ઘણો હતો. 600 માવતરોને આપણે દર મહિને રાશન આપીયે. દરેક માવતરને 1500ની રાશનકીટની સાથે આ વસ્તુઓ ઉમેરીયે તો સહેજે 500નો એક રાશનકીટ સાથે વધે. આમ કુલ લગભગ 3.5 લાખનો ખર્ચ થઈ જાય. 

પણ આ વખતે સમાજ સામે આ માટે ટહેલ નાખુ એ પહેલાં જ મૂળ મહેસાણા રુવાવીગામના અને હાલ સુરતમાં રહેતા આદરણીય ચંદ્રકાન્તભાઈ પટેલ અને પ્રિય પિંકબહેન પટેલ આ બેઉ મારા પરિવારજન ને અમારા કામોમાં ખુબ લાગણી રાખે. એમને કશું કહું એ પહેલા જ એમણે મદદ મોકલી આપી.. ખૂટતું  અમદાવાદમાં રહેતા આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફ- ડો.કે.આર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન, અબુધાબીમાં  રહેતા વીરલભાઈ શાહ અને અમેરીકામાં રહેતા કિશોરભાઈ પટેલ(અંકલ) આ બધાએ મદદ કરી ને દરેક બા દાદાના ઘરે એમને ગમે એવું રાંધીને બનાવી શકાય તે સામાન તેમજ મીઠાઈનું પેકેટ પહોંચાડવામાં VSSM નિમિત્ત બન્યું. પ્રિય પંકજભાઈ પણ 40 પેકેટ મીઠાઈના આપી ગયા. 

આપ સૌની લાગણી માટે આભારી છું. તમે ખરી રીતે દિવાળી ઊજવી એવું ચોક્કસ કહીશ.
