| Vadi community members pledged their contribution towards Sanjiv Sadan |
Our permanent address 'Sanjiv Sadan'
With the noble thought of placing a brick and soil of their home in the foundation, 2500 people belonging to nomadic and de-notified communities from across Gujarat brought the soil and a brick of their yard at the Bhoomi Pujan/groundbreaking ceremony of Sanjiv Sadan.
It was an exhilarating ambiance, their faces beaming with joy equaling the happiness of finding their own address.
I was standing near the stage when Ravjibhai from Rajkot walked towards me and said, "Ben, please accept a contribution of Rs. 55,000 for bricks from the Kangasiya community of Saurashtra. Before I could process what Ravjibhai had just said, Amlabhai Salat spoke, "I wish to contribute Rs. 16,000!' And there was a growing chore of people wishing to contribute. Tulsibhai Bawari pulled out Rs. 5000 from his pocket, Saraniya families of Devpura contributed Rs. 5500, Devipujak and Raval families of Gandhinagar's sector 14 donated Rs. 11000, Dukanji Salat of Himmatnagar's Rs. 5000, Aagresarbhai Salat from same settlement contributed Rs. 500, Jadavbhai Salat made donation of Rs 1001, Nathbawa from Vijapur pledged Rs. 1100, Kansa's Vadi Vansfoda settlement gave Rs. 1100, Raval and Devipujak's of Delvada contributed Rs. 2001, Gorrakhnathbhai Vadi from Dhrangadhra pledged Rs. 5000 for bricks, Chotila's Kangasiya settlement donated Rs. 6000, Viramgaum's Nat Bajaniya community gave Rs. 5100, Bawari community of Ramdevnagar donated Rs. 5100, Visnagar's Aarifbhai Oad gave Rs. 1100, Kishorbhai Vasani's Rs 500, Nayab Bajaniya Samaj Suddharak Trust contributed Rs. 21000, Vishnubhai Bajaniya donated Rs. 11000, Ahmedabad's Ravjibhai gave Rs. 2000, Bajaiya Ekta Trust made a contribution of Rs. 1000, Bajaniya Vikas Mandal's Rs 1000, the Bawari women of Ramdevnagar contributed Rs. 8000, Laxmiben Bawari gave Rs. 500, Jiviben Bawari donated Rs. 500… and many more community members pledged their contribution towards Sanjiv Sadan.
Bachubhai Nat traveled from Surendranagar along with his troupe and refused to take any reimbursement from us.
Many still need their address, yet they wanted to be included in contributing to the organization that worked to bring them addresses.
It is an honor to have such loved ones beside us. I am grateful to the Respected Krishnakant uncle and Indira Auntie. They have donated to purchase land for Sanjiv Sadan and will bear most of the construction cost. The contribution we have received from the individuals and collectives from the community is as significant as the crores donated by uncle and auntie. In today's world, not all can open their hands and let go of their resources. While these families, many of who themselves have no house, share our concern and decide to contribute is a notable gesture.
We are thrilled to be instrumental in their welfare and growth.
We are grateful to the respected Krishnakant uncle, well-wishers, and the government. We look forward to serving thousands and lacs of families in need from Sanjiv Sadan, our new and permanent address.

સંજીવ સદન અમારુ કાયમી સરનામુ.
આ સદનના ભૂમીપૂજન કાર્યક્રમમાં ગુજરાતભરમાંથી વિચરતી જાતિના 2500 માણસો પોતાના આંગણાની ધૂળ અને એક ઈંટ એ પણ લાલ રંગના કપડામાં વીંટીને લઈ આવેલા. સંજીવ સદનના પાયામાં આ ઈંટો અને ધૂળ મુકીશું. પવિત્ર ભાવના સાથે લોકો કાર્યક્રમમાં આવ્યા.
એક અનોખુ વાતાવરણ નિર્મીત થયું. સૌના મુખ પર જાણે એમનું પોતાનું સરનામુ મળ્યું હોય એવો અનેરો આનંદ હતો.
હું સ્ટેજ પાસે ઊભી હતી ત્યાં રવજીભાઈ રાજકોટથી અમારી પાસે આવ્યા ને એમણે કહ્યું બેન સૌરાષ્ટ્રના કાંગસિયા સમાજ તરફથી 55,000 ઈંટો નિમિત્તના લખજો. હું કાંઈ વિચારુ એ પહેલાં તો અમલાભાઈ સલાટ 16,000 મારા, તુલસીભાઈ બાવરીએ તો ખીસ્સામાંથી બધા કાઢી ને 5000 મારા, દેવપુરાના સરાણિયા પરિવારોએ 5500, ગાંધીનગર સેક્ટર 14માં રહેતા દેવીપૂજક અને રાવળ સમુદાયે 11,000 મારા, હિંમતનગરથી દુકાનજી સલાટે 5000 તો એમની જ વસાહતના આગ્રેસરભાઈ સલાટ 500, કલોલથી જાદવભાઈ સલાટના 1001, નાથબાવા વીજાપુરથી 1100 અમારા, વાંસફોડા વાદી વસાહત - કાંસાથી 1100, રાવળ અને દેવીપૂજક વસાહત દેલવાડાથી 2001 , ધ્રાંગધ્રાથી ગોરખનાથભાઈ વાદીએ 5000 ઈંટો લખાવી તો કાંગસિયા વસાહત ચોટીલાથી 6000, નટ બજાણિયા સમાજ વીરમગામ તરફથી 5100, બાવરી સમાજ રામદેવનગર તરફથી 5100, આરીફભાઈ ઓડ વીસનગરથી 1100, કિશોરભાઈ વસાણીએ 500, નાયબ બજાણિયા સમાજ સુધારક મંડળ તરફતી 21,000, વિષ્ણુભાઈ બજાણિયા તરફથી 11,000, રવજીભાઈ અમદાવાદથી 2000, બજાણિયા એકતા ટ્રસ્ટી તરફથી 1000, બજાણિયા વિકાસ મંડળ તરફથી 1000, બાવરીબહેનો રામદેવનગર - 8000, લક્ષ્મીબેન બાવરી 500,જીવીબેન બાવરી 500 મારા ટૂંકમાં ઘણા સ્વજનોએ અનુદાન લખાવ્યું.
સુરેન્દ્રનગરથી બચુભાઈ નટ સમુદાયના ગાયન વૃંદ સાથે આવ્યા જેમણે એક રૃપિયો પણ અમારી પાસેથી ન લીધો.
કેવી ઉત્તમ ભાવના આમાંના ઘણા પાસે પોતાનું સરખુ ઘર પણ નથી પણ એમના માટે કાર્યરત સંસ્થાનું સરનામુ થઈ રહ્યું છે ત્યારે એમાં હિસ્સેદારી નોંધાવવામાં એ કેમ પાછા પડે?
આવા પ્રિયજનો સાથે હોવાનું ગૌરવ છે. આદરણીય ક્રિષ્ણકાંત અંકલ અને ઈન્દિરા આંટીની આભારી છું. એમણે સંજીવસદનની ભૂમી ખરીદવા માટે માતબર રકમ ભેટ આપી સાથે બાંધકામમાં પણ મહત્તમ રાશી એજ આપવાના. એમના કરોડોના અનુદાન જેટલું જ સમુદાયમાંથી આવેલું આ અનુદાન મહામુલુ.
આ દુનિયામાં ઈશ્વર ઘણાને ઘણું આપે પણ બધાથી એ છુટે નહીં. ત્યારે આ માણસો પાસે રહેવા પોતાનું સરખુ ઘર નથી છતાં એની ચિંતા કર્યા વગર શુભમાં આપવાનું એ કરે એ મોટી વાત..
આવા પ્રિયજનોના કલ્યાણમાં નિમિત્ત બનવાનો આનંદ...
