9 women, VSSM’s president Shri Madhavbhai, respected Shri Bhagwankaka along with VSSM team members had a meeting with Home Minister Shri Pradeepsinhji. At the meeting the women were applauded for raising their voice against the rampant spread of drugs and alcohol in their settlement while assuring them of strict actions to curb the nuisance of these vices.

During the meeting Shri Pradeeepsinhji expressed his desire to visit the settlement. We invited him over and at 5 o’clock in the evening he was at the Ramdevnagar settlement. He patiently heard the plight of the women and assured strict action to completely curb the prevalent menace of alcohol and drugs.
“If the police does not listen to you, do not hesitate to tell me!! The police, government, you all and the organisation are in this together and will fight this collectively,” was his assuring promise.

We are grateful for the involvement of Shri Pradeepsinhji, whose compassion combined with the important position he is holding can potential to work wonder.
It brings a sense of great relief and joy to learn that the administration is concerned about the well-being of the marginalised.
The women are happy. The support they have received from the police and government has sent an assuring message that things will take positive turn for them.
We are hopeful the police and government administration will work to bring a complete stop to this menace.

આપણા ગૃહમંત્રી શ્રી પ્રદીપસીંહજીની ઓફીસથી ગઈ કાલે રામદેવનગરની બહેનોના પ્રશ્ને મળવા આવો એવું કહેવા ફોન આવ્યો.
નવ બહેનો, સંસ્થાના પ્રમુખ માધવભાઈ, આદરણીય ભગવાનકાકા સાથે આજે અમે પ્રદીપસિંહજીને મળ્યા. એમણે આ દુષણને ડામવા તમામ કાર્યવાહી કરવાની ખાત્રી આપી તથા બહેનોને શાબાશી આપી.
એમની સાથેની વાતમાં એમણે સામેથી કહ્યું, મારે વસાહતમાં આવવું છે, અમે કહ્યું આવો અને સાંજે પાંચ વાગે તેઓ વસાહતમાં આવ્યા. આવીને બધી બહેનોને એમણે સાંભળી અને તેમને કોઈ તકલીફ ના થાય તે માટે દારૃ ગાંજો સદંતર બંધ થાય તે માટે કાયદાકીય રીતે તમામ સહયોગ મળશે તેવી ખાત્રી આપી.
તેમણે કહ્યું, પોલીસ ના સાંભળે તો પણ મને કહેજો હું છું સાથે. પોલીસ, સરકાર, સંસ્થા અને તમે એમ આપણે સૌ સાથે મળીને આ દુષણને ભગાડીશું.
આભારએક સંવેદનશીલ માણસ અને એય પાછા પ્રધાન બન્યા પછી ધારે તો શું કરી શકે તે અમે જોયું.
નાના માણસોની ચિંતા તંત્રને છે તેનો રાજીપો વ્યક્ત કરીએ છીએ.
બહેનો ખુબ રાજી છે.
બહેન અમને નિરાંત છે તુ જાગતી રે જે હો નહીં તો આ ફેર ચાલુ થઈ જશે એવીયે કેટલાયે ટકોર કરી.
અમે બહેનોને કહ્યું, સરકાર અને પોલીસ સાથે હોય પછી આપણને શાની ચિંતા હોય...
લાગણી રાખી બહેનોના પ્રશ્નોનું કાયમી સમાધાન આવે દારૃ ગાંજો સદંતર બંધ થાય તે માટે સરકાર અને પોલીસ કટીબદ્ધ થાય તેવી અપેક્ષા સાથે...
સાથે આદરણીય પ્રદીપસિંહજી, પોલીસ કમીશનર શ્રી એ.કે.સીંગ તથા અન્ય તમામ અધિકારી ગણનો આભાર..
