Raju Nat’s elder uncle Bijalbhai called up from Lathi the other day, “Ben, we are in a great difficulty here. I wish to start a community kitchen here. We can at the least provide two meals a day…”
“Bijalbhai, you yourself beg for food, how do you plan to start a community kitchen?” was my curious reply.
“If I am begging for myself, why can I beg for others?”

I tried to discourage him, told him it is not right to do so. I told him we shall manage to provide ration kits to all the families in trouble.
With the support of ever so generous and dear Nanditaben Parekh, Jayeshbhai Sherdalal, Vimla Thakkar and Rajendrabhai Patel we managed to provide ration kits to 76 families living in Lathi and Bagasara and 138 families living in Saapar. The kits reached them because of the hard work and efforts of our Ramesh. Each of these ration kits costs Rs. 700.

We are grateful to our well-wishing family members of VSSM who always decide to stand beside us.
In Bagasara Ramesh called the identified families to his home to take away the ration.
લાઠીમાં રહેતા રાજુ નટના બાપુજી બીજલભાઈનો ફોન આવ્યો,
'બેન આંયા બધા બહુ તકલીફમાં છે. મારી ઈસ્સા સે રસોડું શરૃ કરવાની. બાપડા બધાને બે ટંક ખાવા તો મળે..'
મે કહ્યું, 'બીજલભાઈ તમે જ માંગી ભીખીને લાવો છો આવામાં રસોડું કરો તો બધાને ખવડાવો ક્યાંથી..'

મે એમના આ હરખને દબાવ્યો..આવું ના કરવા સમજાવ્યા.
અને જેટલા તકલીફમાં છે તે સૌને આપણે રાશનકીટ આપવાની વ્યવસ્થા કરીશું તેમ કહ્યું.

પ્રિય જયેશભાઈ શેરદલાલ, પ્રિય વિમલા ઠક્કર અને પ્રિય રાજેન્દ્રભાઈ પટેલ આ ચારેય પ્રિયજનોના સહયોગથી લાઠીમાં રહેતા 76 અને બગસરા અને સાપરમાં રહેતા 138 પરિવારોને અમારા સંનિષ્ઠકાર્યકર રમેશે રાશન પહોંચાડ્યું.
પ્રત્યેક પરિવારને 700ની રાશનકીટ આપી.
આભાર આપ સૌ પ્રિયજનોનો... તકલીફમાં આવી પડેલા આપણા આ પરિવારોની પડખે ઊભા રહી આપે જે સહયોગ કર્યો તે માટે આભારી છું.

બગસરામાં તો જરૃરિયાતમંદ પરિવારોને ઓળખી તેમને રમેશે પોતાના ઘરે બોલાવ્યા અને રાશન આપ્યું..
અહીં રાશન કીટ મેળવનાર પરિવારની યાદી મુકવામાં આવી છે. જેથી મદદ કરનારને પણ એની જાણ રહે.
