5th June, World Environment Day.
Today is the day most of us suddenly become concerned on environment issues like climate change, global warming and think the most about trees. Everyone, on this day talks about the need to plant trees, carry plantation drives and lectures one and all.
We too lectured today, but in a different way.

Apart from this, with our well-wishers’ support we also plan to carry tree plantation drive in the shortlisted villages of Banaskantha.
Let us not limit our care and concern towards our planet and its environment for just one day. Let us be mindful of our choices, let our actions portray care and protection for our environment all through the year.
આજે પાંચ જૂન... વિશ્વ પર્યાવરણ દિવસ
આજે ઠેર ઠેર વૃક્ષો વાવવાનું બધા દ્વારા થયું હશે, ક્યાંક તો ભાષણબાજી પણ થઈ હશે...
આજે અમે પણ જરા જુદી રીતે ભાષણબાજી કરી.
જેમને ઝાડ ઉછેરમાં તેમજ પર્યાવરણના જતનમાં રસ છે તેવા યુવા અનસ્ટોપેલબના યુવા સ્વયંમસેવકો સાથે આગામી ચોમાસામાં વધુ ઝાડ કેવી રીતે ઉગાડવા તથા શાળાઓમાં ભણતા વિદ્યાર્થીને આ કામમાં કેવી રીતે જોડવા તે અંગે વિસ્તારથી વાત થઈ.
યુવા સાથે મળીને અમે દસેક ગામોમાં ઝાડ ઉછેરનું કામ કરવાના છીએ...
આ સિવાય વ્યક્તિગત રીતે અન્ય પ્રિયજનોની મદદથી અમે પસંદ કરેલા ગામોમાં વૃક્ષારોપણનું કામ પણ આગામી દિવસોમાં કરવાના છીએ.
પર્યાવરણ દિવસની ઊજવણી એક જ દિવસ પૂરતી ના બની રહે પણ આખુ વર્ષ પર્યાવરણ વર્ષની જેમ ઊજવાય તે માટે સૌએ સજ્જ થવાની જરૃર છે અને એ સજ્જતા માટે સૌને શુભેચ્છા..
