‘We also Exist’

‘We Also Exist’ is the voice of the nomadic and the de-notified communities of Gujarat to make their presence noticed by the eminent citizens, law makers and political parties of the state. We decided to make this voice heard and took the demands and issues of the nomadic communities to the political parties for its inclusion in their manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections (as seen in the picture).

The election manifesto of congress is out and they have included each and every demand we had put forward (as seen in picture).

The nomadic communities are so visible yet ignored by one and all. This development has brought some joy in lives of nomads and people who have been striving for their rights.

We are awaiting the election manifesto of BJP hopefully, our demands do feature in it too….

We are glad that our appeals have been heard and are grateful to the warm support we have received from you all throughout our journey….

‘અમે પણ છીએ’

એ વાતથી વિચરતી અને વિમુક્ત જાતિઓના મુદ્દાઓને જાહેરજીવન સાથે સંકળાયેલા અને લોકોના હીતાર્થે કામ કરવાની ખેવના રાખનાર રાજકીય પક્ષો પાસે મુકવાનું નક્કી કર્યું ને ભાજપ અને કોંગ્રેસ સાથે અમારા મુદ્દાઓનો સમાવેશ ચુંટણી_ઢંઢેરામાં થાય તે માટે વાટાઘાટો કરી અને અમારી માંગણીઓ આપી. (જે ફોટોમાં જોઈ શકાય છે)

કોંગ્રેસનો ઢંઢંરો આવ્યો અને અમે મુકેલા દરેક મુદ્દાઓ તેમણે પોતાના ઢંઢેરામાં મુક્યા. ખુબ ખુબ આભાર (આ સાથે મુકેલા ફોટોમાં એ મુદ્દા જોઈ શકાય છે)
સૌને અમે(વિચરતી વિમુક્ત જાતિઓ) દેખાઈએ છતાં સૌની નજરમાંથી અમે ઓઝલ આ વસવસો અમને કાયમનો પણ ચાલો આજે એક પક્ષને તો અમે દેખાયા. આનંદ...

ભાજપનું સંકલ્પ પત્ર(ચૂંટણી ઢંઢેરો) આવનાર છે. એ પણ અમારી અપેક્ષાઓને માન આપશે એવી આશા છે....

પણ આનંદ ‘અમે પણ છીએ’ ની નોંધ લેવાઈ એનો....
ને આ કાર્યમાં મદદ કરનાર સૌનો આભાર તેમની સતત હૂંફથી જ આ શક્ય બન્યું.

This election, let the nomads decide what they want from the political parties

The assembly #elections have been declared in #Gujarat and as always it is with each election, loads of promises are made by political party to pull the electorate towards them but, as we all know most of which are never delivered.

This year however we want it to be a bit different rather, the other way around. We want the you/political parties to promise us what we ask for. Trust us, none of our demands will challenge any of these parties!!

Only if you/politicians bring our demands on your election #manifesto will we think about voting for your party #candidate.

We have come to understand that we would be able to question you only if our demands are on the manifesto. If you choose to ignore us even this time we promise to show our might in the next election.

Appointment Letter to meet the
State President of BJP

We are seeking appointments to meet the State Presidents of #BJP and #Congress. Once we are given an appointment we will be meeting both these leaders with all the community leaders of #nomadic and de-notified communities from across Gujarat.

We will also go and handover our demands to the regional heads of these political parties. If the political parties are preparing themselves to come to power, how can people be left behind!!

આજે ભાજ્પ અને કોંગ્રેસ બંને પક્ષના પ્રમુખો પાસે વિચરતી વિમુક્તજાતિઓના પ્રશ્નો બાબતે મળવાનો સમય માંગ્યો છે. આ સાથે સમય માંગવા માટે લખેલા પત્રો સામેલ છે. જે બંને પક્ષના કાર્યાલય દ્વારા સ્વીકારાયા છે

વિચરતી જાતિઓની બંને પક્ષોને કેટલી પડી છે એ પણ સમય આપવાની સાથે ખબર પડશે...

નાના સમાજોની કેટલી ચિંતા પક્ષોને છે તે સમય કેટલો વહેલા આપે છે તેના ઉપરથી ખ્યાલ આવશે.

પ્રદેશપ્રમુખને મળવા આવવાની ઈચ્છા રાખનાર વ્યક્તિઓની યાદી તૈયાર કરવા માંડો....

ફોટોમાં અપેક્ષાઓની વાત અમે પણ છીએ એ સંમેલનમાં કરી તે વેળાની તસવીર પ્રતિકરૃપે... ને પ્રદેશ પ્રમુખોને આપેલા પત્રો...
