Her husband had expired a long time ago. Even the son  expired some years ago. Manharba used to work as a cook in someone's house which helped her to take care of herself. But with age advancing she had to give up the work. Manharba stays in Varsoda and has her own house. However, her house is in totally dilapidated condition.  She now stays in a rented house. She gets pension for senior citizens from which she pays the house rent & power bills. We came to know about Manharba from a local village person Ashwinbhai Raval who informed our colleague

We met her recently and she requested us to help repair her house so she can save a monthly rent of Rs 500/-. Over & above that she will have the happiness of staying in her own house & there will be no ear of anyone asking her to vacate the house.

Manharba has on so many occasions thanked us for the ration that we give her  When we went to see her dilapidated house she told us something very nice.

" Karna was a benevolent person. He us to donate gold . After death he went to heaven.  When he was hungry he was given gold biscuits to eat. When Karna asked why Gold biscuits. He was told that he will get what he donated. Donating food is the best donation one can do. From your ration, I am able to quench my hunger. My soul bless you every day"

We are able to do this noble task of helping at least 600 dependent aged grand parents primarily because of so many donors & well wishers who contribute generously towards this cause. The blessings of Manharba is to all who help us in this cause.

To repair the house, Shri Kishorebhai helped us. In memory of Kushbhai we named it Kush Home 2. Thank you Kishorebhai.

You all can be a part of this noble cause of helping the elders & the dependent.

મનહરબા ગાંધીનગરના માણસના વરસોડાગામમાં રહે.

પતિને ગુજરી ગયે ઘણો વખત થયો. એક દીકરો હતો એ પણ ગુજરી ગયો. બા ગાંધીનગરમાં કોઈના ઘરે રહીને રસોઈ કરતા એટલે નિભાવ થઈ જતો. પણ હવે ઉંમર થતા એ કામ છુટ્યું. 

બા હવે વરસોડામાં રહે. એમનું પોતાનું ઘર છે. પણ એ ઘર જર્જરીત થઈ ગયું છે. આથી એ ભાડાના ઘરમાં એ રહે.

વૃદ્ધ પેન્શન મળે એમાંથી એ ઘરનું ભાડુ ભરે ને બાકી બચે એમાંથી લાઈટબીલ ને અન્ય ખર્ચ કરે. 

મનહરબાની સ્થિતિ વિષે ગામના અશ્વિનભાઈ રાવળે અમારા કાર્યકર રીઝવાનભાઈને વાત કરી. અમે માવજત કાર્યક્રમ અંતર્ગત એમને રાશન આપવાનું શરૃ કર્યું. બાને ગામના એક જૈન પરિવાર તરફથી એક ટંક ટીફીન મળે અને અમે રાશન આપીયે આમ ખાવા પીવાનું થઈ જાય.

અમે હમણાં એમને મળ્યા ત્યારે એમણે કહ્યું, 'આ ભાડાના ઘરની જગ્યાએ મારુ પોતાનું ઘર જો રીપેર થઈ જાય તો મારા મહિનાના 500 રૃપિયા બચી જાય. પાછુ પોતાના ઘરનું સુખ જુદુ. કોઈ ખાલી કરાવશેની બીક પણ ન રહે.'

મનહર બાને રાશન આપીયે તે માટે એમણે કોણ જાણે કેટલીયે વખત આભાર વ્યક્ત કર્યો. એમનું જર્જરીત ઘર જોવા ગયા ત્યારે એમણે એક સરસ વાત કરી,

'કર્ણ દાનવીર કહેવાયો. એ સોનાનું દાન કરતો. મૃત્યુ પછી સ્વર્ગમાં ગયો. એને ભૂખ લાગી. જમવામાં એને સોનાના બીસ્કીટ આપ્યા. કારણ પુછ્યું તો કહ્યું, તે જેનું દાન કર્યું હોય એ તને મળે!' આ વાત કરીને બા હસ્યા અને કહ્યું, 'અન્નદાન મહાદાન કહેવાય. તમે રાશન આપો એનાથી મારુ પેટ ભરાય, મારો આત્મા રોજ તમને આશિર્વાદ આપે.'

આમ જુઓ તો અમે નિમિત્ત. VSSM સાથે સંકળાયેલા કેટલા બધા સ્વજનો અમને મદદ કરે ત્યારે અમે મનહર બા જેવા 600 નિરાધાર બા દાદાઓને રાશન આપી શકીએ.

Shantaba in Grambharti Amrapur in Gandhinagar said this.

Living in a totally dilapidated house made years ago with mud and cow dung when her husband was alive, now it leaks badly every monsoon. 

There is no one to take care of Shantaba in her old age. We give her food ration of about Rs 1,500 every month. With her stays her mentally retarded daughter. There is a ration shop next to her house. The owner gives her some ration. With this her food needs are met.

When I went to meet her, she requested me to repair her house so that she can spend the rest of her life peacefully.Shri Kishore uncle ( Kishorebhai Patel) staying in the USA  helped. In memory of loving Kushalbhai we will make a "Kush Home".

There are many such elders who are without any support who need society to help them..  Anyone with even limited resources can come forward to help in this cause . This will go a long way in improving the quality of life of these elders.

At present VSSM gives food kits worth Rs 1500/- per month to about 600 such elderly people.

ગાંધીનગરનું ગ્રામભારતી - અમરાપુર ત્યાં રહેતા શાંતાબાએ આ કહ્યું.

એકદમ જર્જરીત ઘર. વર્ષો પહેલાં એમના ઘરવાળા જીવતા હતા ત્યારે ગારમાટીમાંથી બનાવેલું ઘર. હવે તો એમાં ચોમાસામાં પાણીનાં દંદુડા પડે. 

શાંતામાની પાછલી અવસ્થામાં કાળજી કરનાર કોઈ નહીં. અમે દર મહિને એમને 1500 રૃપિયાનું રાશન આપીયે. એમની સાથે એમની માનસીક રીતે વિકલાંગ દીકરી રહે. એમના ઘર પાસે સસ્તા અનાજની દુકાન. તે એ ભાઈ પણ એમને થોડું રાશન આપે આમ અમારી રાશનકીટ અને આ ભાઈની મદદથી મળતા અનાજ પર તેમનું ગાડુ ગબડે. 

શાંતાબાને મળવા ગઈ ત્યારે એમણે ઘર થોડું સરખુ કરી આપવા વિનંતી. જેથી જીંદગીના બાકીના દિવસો આરામથી પસાર થાય.

અમેરીકામાં રહેતા કિશોર અંકલ(કિશોરભાઈ પટેલ)ની મદદથી અને પ્રિય કુશલભાઈની સ્મૃતિમાં આ કુશ હોમ - 3 અમે બનાવીશું.

પણ આવા ઘણા માવતરો છે જે નિરાધાર છે જેમને સમાજના ટેકાની જરૃર છે. જેની પાસે થોડી ઘણી ક્ષમતા છે એ દરેક વ્યક્તિ આવા એક એક માવતરને દત્તક લઈ શકે તો પણ એમનું ઘડપણ સુધરી જાય.

હાલ VSSM આવા 600 માવતરોને દર મહિને રાશન આપે.

if the hunger of the poor is not satiated

Poet Shri Umashankar Joshi as a warning wrote this sonnet some decades ago about the discrimination based on caste & wealth in the society. When I meet the poor, I recollect these words in the sonnet.

There are countless people in our country for whom two meals is a luxury. The handicapped & those without any support do get extra grains from the government. However, many times people do not have any knowledge about such facilities available to them. Even if they know, when they go to the authorities they do not get the benefits. In such situations VSSM team comes to their help. We identify such people who are entitled to extra benefits but do not have the card which makes them eligible. We at VSSM undertake efforts to get eligibility cards for them.

As such the government machinery is well established to identify the poor who should automatically get the benefits. However machinery does not always work & we have to supplement . This is another story.

However, the present team of the Public Distribution System is determined to reach till the last deserving person.

As such we have heard of many incidents of corruption in this department but since last few years honest & duty bound officers are in charge & they want to see that the poor  get the food ration at a concessional rate.

In Gandhinagar, our associate Shri Rizwan applied for about 14 families to get the "Antyoday card" . The collector & mamlatdar Shri Hareshbhai Patel were sympathetic and issued the cards.

The families that got the card were very happy. One old lady said that her husband had expired almost 20 years ago. She is not able to work any more. The grains that she is getting from  VSSM is a great relief to her. One can realise how important is this 10-15kg of  food grains only when we meet them.

Grateful to the government authorities for their services.

ઊંચા ચણો મ્હેલ, ચણો મિનારા !

મઢો સ્ફટિકે, લટકાવો ઝુમ્મરો,

દરિદ્રની એ ઉપહાસલીલા

સંકેલવા, કોટિક જીભ ફેલતો

ભૂખ્યાં જનોનો જઠરાગ્નિ જાગશે;

ખંડેરની ભસ્મકણી ન લાધશે !

સમાજમાં પ્રવર્તતા વર્ગભેદ અને પુંજીવાદ સામે કવિ શ્રી ઉમાશંકર જોષીએ આ ચેતવણરૃપી સોનેટ દાયકાઓ પહેલાં લખ્યું. ગરીબીમાં સબળતા વ્યક્તિઓને મળું ત્યારે  આ સોનેટના શબ્દો યાદ આવી જાય છે. 

દેશમાં કેટલાય એવા વ્યક્તિઓ છે જેઓ માંડ બે ટંકનું ભેગું કરી શકે. સરકાર આ બધાની ચિંતા કરી તેમને રાહતદરે તો ક્યાંક વિનામુલ્યે અનાજ મળે તેવી ગોઠવણ  કરે. એ માટે ઘણી યોજનાઓ પણ અમલી બની છતાં ક્યાંક અમલવારીમાં તકલીફો જણાય.

અંત્યોદય રેશનકાર્ડ વિધવા, વિકલાંગ, નિરાધાર ટૂંકમાં જેના ઘરે એક સાંઘતા તેર તૂટે એવા પરિવારોને વધારે અનાજ મળે તે માટે સરકાર દ્વારા આપવામાં આવે. પણ ઘણી વખત આવા પરિવારોને આવા કાર્ડ અંગે જાણકારી ન હોય. ક્યારેય જાણકારી હોય ને કાર્ડ માંગવા જાય તો એ મળે નહીં.

આવી સ્થિતિમાં VSSM ટીમ સાચા જરૃરિયાતવાળા પરિવારોને શોધી તેમને અંત્યોદય કાર્ડ મળે તે માટે પ્રયત્નો કરે. 

આમ તો સરકારનું માળખુ છેક તળિયા સુધી ગોઠવાયેલું છે એ યોગ્ય રીતે કામ કરે તો અમારા જેવાને આંગળી ચિંધવાની જરૃર જ ન પડે. પણ ખેર... એ જુદો વિષય છે.

હાલની અન્ન નાગરિક પુરવઠા વિભાગની આખી ટીમ છેવાડાના માણસો સુધી પહોંચવા કટીબદ્ધ. આમ તો આ વિભાગમાં ભ્રષ્ટાચારની ઘણી ફરિયાદો આપણે સાંભળેલી પણ છેલ્લા કેટલાક વર્ષોથી આ વિભાગમાં એકદમ કર્તવ્યનિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓ ફરજ પર આવ્યા. સૌનો હેતુ છેક છેવાડે રહેતા માણસો ને ખાસ જેમને રાહતદરે મળતા અનાજથી હાશ થાય તેમને રાશન પહોંચાડવાનો.

ગાંધીનગરમાં રહેતા  જરૃરિયાતવાળા 14 પરિવારોને અંત્યોદય રાશનકાર્ડ મળે તે માટે અમારા કાર્યકર રીઝવાને અરજી કરી અને કલેક્ટર શ્રી ગાંધીનગર તેમજ મામલતદાર શ્રી હરેશભાઈ પટેલની લાગણીથી એમને કાર્ડ મળ્યા.

જેમને કાર્ડ મળ્યા એ તમામ પરિવારો રાજી. એક બાએ કહ્યું, 'મારા ઘરવાળાને ગુજરી ગયે 20 વર્ષ થયા. મારાથી હવે કામ નથી થતું આ કાર્ડ પર મને અનાજ વધારે મળે છે એનાથી મને રાહત છે..'

દસ પંદર કિ.ગ્રા અનાજ કોઈના માટે કેટલું મહત્વનું હોય એ આ પરિવારોને મળો તો સમજાય..

"Ever since we got this rice, I haven't had a peaceful sleep. The rats keep on running around and make cluttering noise with their teeth. The rice bag had to be kept moving and in doing that I couldn't sleep".

Tejima from Lotiya Village from Radhanpur in Patan District had told me this about 3 years ago. We had given her all the rice at one stroke and she had no containers to store the rice. She had suffered a lot of inconvenience because of that. After that  Aslambhai, our very dear friend through FaceBook, had helped by gifting the containers. Tejiba got happy seeing the containers and felt as if she had got a dowry in her marriage. 

After a long time I got a chance to meet Tejiba. From a temporary shed she now had a permanent home with a toilet built with the help of our dear Priyankaben Saha.

Tejiba must now be around 76 years old. She has not seen her mother. Her siblings took care of her. She got married and went to her husband's home. She had to do a lot of hard work there too. Her husband died about 20 years ago. She had to come back to her parent's home. She has a daughter who got married. Daughter also got widowed & has young kids. 

Tejima said " I have never seen happiness in my life. You gave me ration and because of that I was saved from undue labour" Tejima's home had got destroyed in this monsoon. With Priyankaben's financial help  & the concern of our associates,Mohanbhai & Shankarbhai., we could  provide a home for Tejiba. 

Priyankaben has been generous with her help. Not only this home for Tejiba, she also helped in providing food kits for 15 elderly couples and  in planting 2000 tree saplings. 

Tejima was insisting that I come & see her home. When I visited her home, she was overwhelmed to see me and said she felt  as if her parents had come to her home.  She said that in her old age now she could feel happy. When she didn't have a home, she wanted to die but now with her having a home she wanted to live for a few more years & enjoy life. The ladies from the neighbourhood joked that Tejima now has everything , rice & dal everyday to eat and a nice home to stay in. Tejima was thankful to us for these changes in her life. Priyankaben, Aslambhai & our VSSM associates have no relations with Tejiba, yet all were worried about her. 

This is humanity. If every person can take care of the person in their neighbourhood who is in difficulty lot of miseries in this world can be eradicated 

We at VSSM give ration (food kits) to such 600 old people and also help in other ways that we can.

'આ ચોખા આલ્યા તાણથી હખેથી ઊંઘી નઈ હકી. ઉંદેડા આખી રાત કટકટ કરીન્ હેરોન કર. તે ચોખાની કોથળી ઘડીયે ઘડીયે ફેરબ્બી પડ અન્ ઈમન ઈમ ઊંઘી ના હકુ.'

પાટણના રાધનપુરના લોટિયાગામના તેજીમાએ આ વાક્ય ત્રણ વર્ષ પહેલાં કહેલું. અમે એક સામટા ચોખા આપી દીધેલા તે ભરવા ડબ્બા નહોતા ને એના લીધે એમને હેરાનગતિ થયેલી.

એ પછી ફેસબુક પર જેમની સાથે મેળાપ થયેલો એવા અમારા પ્રિયજન અસ્લમભાઈ પટેલે ડબ્બા ભેટરૃપે મોકલી આપ્યા.

ડબ્બા જોઈને તેજીમા હરખાઈ ગયેલા એમણે એ વેળા કહેલું, 'મારુ જાણે આજે આણુ કર્યું હોય એવુ લાગ્યું.'

આજે ઘણા વખતે પાછુ તેજીમાના ત્યાં જવાનું થયું. એ છાપરાંમાં રહેતા એમાંથી એમનું પાક્કુ એક રૂમ, ટોયલેટ સાથેનું ઘર અમે અમારા પ્રિય પ્રિયંકાબેન સહાની મદદથી બાંધ્યું. 

તેજીમાની હાલની ઉંમર 76 આસપાસ હશે. પોતાની માનું મોંઢુ એમણે જોયું નથી. એમના ભાઈ બહેનોએ એમને મોટા કર્યા. પરણીને સાસરે ગયા. કાળી મજૂરી ત્યાં પણ કરી. 20 વર્ષ પહેલાં પતિ ગુજરી ગયા એટલે પિયરીયા એમને તેડી લાવ્યા. એક દિકરી છે. જેને એમણે પરણાવી. એ દીકરી પણ હમણાં વિધવા થઈ એને નાના બાળકો છે. 

તેજીમા કહે, 'સુખ કોઈ દિવસ જોયું જ નહી. તમે રાશન આપવાનું શરૃ કર્યું તે એનાથી મને શાંતિ થઈ ગઈ. કોઈની ઓશિયાળી વેઠવાની મટી.'

આવા તેજીમાનું છાપરુ આ ચોમાસે પડી ગયું. અમારા કાર્યકર મોહનભાઈ અને શંકરભાઈને એમની ચિંતા તે એમણે આપણે એક રૃમ, ટોયલેટ સાથેનું ઘર બનાવી દઈએ તો તેજીમાને શાંતિ થઈ જશેનું કહ્યું ને પ્રિયંકાબેનની મદદથી અમે એ બાંધ્યું.

પ્રિયંકાબેન અમારા 15 માવતરોને રાશનકીટ આપે. એ સિવાય 2000 વૃક્ષોનું જંગલ કર્યું ને આ ઘર પણ.. 

તેજીમાનો આગ્રહ હતો ઘર જોવા આવવાનો તે ખાસ જવાનું થયું. એમણે માટલી પણ મુકવડાવી. એમણે કહ્યું, 'જોણ આજે મારુ મામેરુ થ્યું. મારા મા-બાપ મારા ઘરે આયા હોય ઈમ લાગ્યું. તમે ઘરડે ઘડપણ મન સુખ આલ્યું, પેલા થતું ભગવોન લઈ લે તો હારુ પણ હવ ઘર થ્યું. હવ થોડા વરહ કાઢવાનું મન હ્. મેલ્લાની વહુઓ હસીન્ કે ક, તેજીમા તમાર તો ચેવું હારુ દાળ, ભાત રોધીન રોજ ખાવાના, હવ તો ઘરેય થઈ જ્યું. આ બધા માટે તમારા બધાનો ઓભાર માનુ એટલો ઓસો.'

તેજીમાની આંખોમાં ચમક હતી. એમણે પંખો અને એક ખાટલો અમે જઈ રહ્યા ત્યારે માંગ્યો. એ કહે, 'કોઈ પાહેણ માંગવાનું ગમે નહીં પણ તમે મા ક્યો એટલે કહ્યું... '

કેવી લાગણી..

પ્રિયંકાબેન, અસ્મલભાઈ અમારી ટીમ આ બધાની શું સગાઈ તેજીમા સાથે છતાં બધા એકબીજાની ચિંતા કરે..

આમ તો આજ માનવતા.. દરેક વ્યક્તિ પોતાની આસપાસમાં રહેતા તકલીફમાં હોય તેવા વ્યક્તિઓની ચિંતા કરતો થઈ જાય તો પણ આ દુનિયામાંથી ઘણા દુઃખ દુર થઈ જાય.

અમે તેજીમા જેવા 600 નિરાધાર માવતરોને દર મહિને રાશન આપીયે અને અન્ય જરૃરી શક્ય મદદ પણ કરીએ.

Who would like to go & stay in a city ?

The youngsters sitting with us said this. It is a bit surprising because most people are crazy about staying in a city rather than in a village.The city girls refuse to marry the boys in the village even though the boys are well established & settled in their farming business. The boys therefore do not like the city.

This is about adivasis of Poshina Village in Sabarkantha District. They live in limited means and they do not exploit nature also much. 

They do minimal farming and live frugally. However, as winter sets in, the water from their wells also gets exhausted. They are forced to go to the city to look for work. What can be done to prevent this ? The issue required introspection. In this area Dr K R Shroff Foundation does good work in the field of education.  They supplement the shortage of teachers in Government Schools. 

Respected Shri Partulbhai the founder & Shri Udaybhai Desai the President of  Dr K R Shroff Foundation always have a feeling that the quality of lives of the villagers should improve and it is with their financial help only that we could carry out several water management projects. 

The lakes, wells have to be silted deeper so that the water can be available throughout the year and people do not have to leave the village for the city. The Government should also support through their Sujlam-Sufflam program for the desilting & excavating of 16 lakes in the village of Poshina. We requested the government to associate VSSM & Dr K R Shroff Foundation in this mission. 

With the help of  Minister Shri Rishikeshbhai Patel , Collector of Sabarkantha District Shri Naimesh Dave , TDO of Poshina Shri Nareshbhai Chowdhary and the officers of water department we could excavate 16 lakes and build 6 check dams. 

We went to see one of the villages named Bedigam with a population of 1000 which benefited from excavation  and met the adivasi farmers. We asked them what more we can do to help them. Respected Shri Pratulbhai specially came with us to talk to the villagers.

The villagers were happy because lakes were excavated and are now full , even the wells are filled up. So summer time will be taken care of. More importantly we will now not have to go to the city in search of work. These villagers will now be able to take care of their animals and their income will increase to enable them to sustain. They asked us to give them a loan to buy cattle. We will work in that direction too. 

Dr K R Shroff Foundation and VSSM are determined to work together. The associated people of both organisations Rahulbhai, Tohidbhai, Prakashbhai worked hard in this goal. 

શહેરમાં જવાનું કોને ગમે?'

અમારી સામે બેઠેલા યુવાનોએ આ કહ્યું.. આમ તો આ વાત સાંભળી નવાઈ લાગે. શહેરનું તો લોકોને ઘેલું હોય છે. અરે ગામમાં રહેતા ને સારામાં સારી ખેતી ધરાવતા યુવાન સાથે લગ્ન કરવાનું પણ છોકરીઓ ટાળે ત્યારે આ લોકોને શહેર નથી ગમતું!

વાત છે સાબરકાંઠાના પોશીના વિસ્તારના આદિવાસી પરિવારોની..

મર્યાદીત સંસાધનો સાથે જીવતા આ પરિવારોને જાણે ઝાઝી એષણા જ નહીં. ના પ્રકૃતિનું પણ ઝાઝુ દોહન કરે. 

નાનકડી ખેતી કરીને પેટિયું રળે. પણ ખેતી માટે જરૃરી પાણી એમના કૂવામાં શિયાળો ઉતરતા ખૂટી પડે એટલે ના છુટકે એમણે શહેર ભણી રોજી રોટી રળવા એ લોકોની ભાષામાં કહુ તો નાહવું પડે. 

શું કરી શકાય? એ મુદ્દો તો વિચારવાનો જ હતો. આ વિસ્તારમાં ડો.કેઆર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન શિક્ષણક્ષેત્રે કાર્ય કરે. સરકારી શાળામાં શિક્ષકોની ઘટની પૂર્તી સંસ્થા કરે. આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફ એના સ્થાપક ને ઉદયભાઈ દેસાઈ પ્રમુખ. એમની લાગણી આ વિસ્તારમાં લોકોની સુખાકારી વધે તેવી. એમણે અમને આ દિશામાં કામ કરવા કહ્યું ને એમની જ આર્થિક મદદથી અમે આ વિસ્તારમાં જળસંચયના કાર્યો કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું.

તળાવો, કૂવા ઊંડા થાય ને બારે મહિના પાણી મળી રહે તો એમને ગામ છોડવું ન પડે. સરકાર પણ આ કાર્યમાં જોડાય એ માટે અમે મથ્યા ને સરકારના સૂજલામ સુફલામ અભીયાન અંતર્ગત પોશિનાના 16 તળાવો ઊંડા કરવા ડો.કે.આર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન અને VSSM ને સહભાગી બનાવવા અમે રજૂઆત કરી.

આદરણીય ઋષીકેશભાઈ પટેલ માનનીય મંત્રી શ્રીની મદદ મળી ને સાબરકાંઠા કલેક્ટર શ્રી નૈમેષ દવે તેમજ પોશિના TDO શ્રી નરેશભાઈ ચૌધરી તેમજ જળસંપતી નિગમના અધિકારી ગણની પણ મદદ મળી. જેના કારણે 16 તળાવો તેમજ 6 ચેકડેમ અમે કરી શક્યા.

જે 16 તળાવ ગાળ્યા તેમાંનું 1000ની વસતિ ધરાવતું બેડીગામનું તળાવ અમે જોવા ગયા અને આદિવાસી ખેડૂત પરિવારો સાથે વધારે શું મદદ કરી શકીએ તેની વાત કરી. આદરણીય પ્રતુલભાઈ ખાસ એ માટે સાથે આવ્યા. 

ખેડૂતોએ કહ્યું,  'તળાવો ગળાયા એટલે તળાવ આસપાસના ખેડૂતોના કૂવા એકદમ ટોચ સુધી ભરાયા. બધા ખેડૂતો રાજી. હવે ઉનાળો નીકળે જશે.'

આ વાતની સાથે શહેરમાં નાહવું નહીં પડે એમ પણ કહ્યું. આ પરિવારો પશુપાલન કરતા થાય તો પણ આવકમાં વધારો થાય તે એ અંગે પણ એમની સાથે વાતો થઈ. એમણે અમને પશુ ખરીદવા લોન આપવા કહ્યું. એ દિશામાં પણ અમે કામ કરીશું.

ડો.કે.આર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન તેમજ VSSM ની ટીમ સાથે મળીને આ દિશામાં કાર્ય કરવા પ્રતિબદ્ધ છે.. બેઉ સંસ્થાના કાર્યકરોમાં રાહુલભાઈ, તોહીદભાઈ, પ્રકાશભાઈની મહેનત આ માટે ઘણી. બાકી તળાવ ભરાયું એ તેમજ ગામના કેટલાક નાગરિકો સાથે થયેલી બેઠકની તસવીર..
