“It is an unshakable bond we share with you. We were to reach you, it took a little longer because of the disaster we are trying to cope with is difficult to handle. We tried to ensure help from the government and others reach you. The almighty that cares for you all is immensely generous, he wouldn’t allow you to go hungry. We had to reach you once he commands!!”
84 families from Patan’s Kimbuva, Kakosi, Abluva, Koita, Vagdod, Vadani and Vadu expressed worry and sense of relief after seeing us. Some were in tears when they saw
VSSM’s Mohanbhai arrive with ration.

With support from the National Federation of Insurance Workers of India for the support, we have managed to provide grain kits to 84 families. I am grateful to all who have supported the Federation to make this financial assistance to us. I assure you that your money has reached the neediest families who have experienced a sense of relief after the kit reached them. Thank you once again!!

'તમારા બધા સાથેનો નાતો તો અતૂટ છે તમને કેવી રીતે ભૂલીએ પણ આ સંકટનો સમય થોડો લાંબો ચાલવાનો હતો એટલે સરકાર અને અન્ય કેટલાક તમને મદદ કરે એ માટે કોશીશ કરી.. અમે થોડા પાછળથી આવ્યા. આમ પણ આવવાનું તો હતું જ... વળી આપણો ધણી હજાર હાથવાળો... એ કાંઈ ભૂખ્યા થોડા રાખે એ આદેશ આપવાનો જ હતો ને અમારે આવવાનું હતું'

આવી પ્રેમભરી ફરિયાદ પાટણના કીંબુવા, કાકોસી, મુના, અબલુવા, કોઈટા, વાગદોડ, વદાની અને વડુના 84 પરિવારોએ વ્યક્ત કરી.
કેટલાકની તો આંખોમાં તો VSSMના કાર્યકર મોહનભાઈને જોઈને પાણી આવી ગયા.
'લીધી બાપલા તમે જ અમારા ગરીબ ગરબોની હંભાળ લો બાકી કુન પડી હોય...' એવુંયે ઘણાએ કહ્યું..

નેશનલ ફેડરેશન ઓફ ઈન્સ્યુરન્સ ફિલ્ડ વર્કર્સ ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા ( NFIFWI )ના આર્થિક સહયોગથી અમે 84 આવા પરિવારોને રાશન આપી શક્યા.
ફેડરેશનના માધ્યમથી મદદ કરનાર સૌ પ્રત્યે કૃતજ્ઞતા વ્યકત્ કરુ છુ અને તમારા પૈસાથી સાચા માણસોના પેટની આગ ઓલવાયાનો તમને પણ હાશકારો થશે એવું હું ખાત્રી પુર્વક કહુ છું...
