A sizeable population of nomadic communities stay in various parts of Mehsana district. The challenges these families face everyday are immense and there is a long list of pending applications waiting in various administrative offices waiting to see light of the day!! We have made presentations at multiple levels to get the issued resolved but there are no significant developments. The officials willing to make a difference are doing the best they can do but the issues are so many both in numbers and types that resolving them would require determined and collective efforts by the officials. We brought the issue to the notice of district Collector requesting him to call review meeting on the pending issues with participation of all the block level officials. The Collector sensed the rationale behind our request and convened a meeting on 4th March 2015.
The officials were really supportive and positive assuring us speedy resolutions to the pending issues. We are hopeful that after the meeting things will change for better now…

મહેસાણા જીલ્લામાં અસ્થાઈ વસવાટ કરતા વિચરતા સમુદાયોના પ્રશ્નો સંદર્ભે અધિક કલેકટર શ્રીની અધ્ક્ષતામાં બેઠક યોજાઈ
મહેસાણા જીલ્લામાં રહેતાં વિચરતી જાતિના પરિવારો જે પારાવાર મશ્કેલી વેઠી રહ્યા છે એ મુશ્કેલી સંદર્ભે અવારનવાર કલેકટર શ્રી થી લઈને નીચેના સ્તરે દરેક અધિકારીને રજૂઆત કરી પણ કોઈ પરિણામ મળતું નહોતું. કેટલીક જગ્યાએ અધિકારી સારા છે તેઓ એમના સ્તરેથી શક્ય કામ પતાવવાની કોશિશ કરે છતાં ખુબ મોટા પાયે વિચરતી જાતિના પેન્ડીંગ કામો આ જીલ્લામાં છે. આ અંગે કલેકટર શ્રીને રજૂઆત કરી અને દરેક તાલુકાના અધિકારી સાથે આ પરિવારોના પ્રશ્નો સંદર્ભે કરેલી રજૂઆતની રીવ્યુ મીટીંગ ગોઠવવા વિનંતી કરી. જે તા.૪ માર્ચ ૨૦૧૫ના રોજ અધિક કલેકટર શ્રીના અધ્ક્ષતામાં યોજાઈ.
બેઠકમાં દરેક અધિકારીએ ખુબ હકારાત્મક રીતે આ જાતિઓના પ્રશ્નો ઉકેલવાની ખાત્રી આપી. અમને સૌને આશા છે કે હવે કામની ગતિ વધશે અને ઝડપથી વિચરતા પરિવારોના પ્રશ્નો ઉકેલાશે...
