Ration cards prove to be blessings in disguise for thousands of needy families….

“This ration card you helped obtain has come to our rescue during these challenging times. There has brought us great relief for our food needs. The ration shops gave us wheat, rice, sugar and dal. Oil and chilli would have made it even better nonetheless, something is better than nothing.”

Thousands of families who have obtained Ration Cards as a result of VSSM’s efforts have always blessed and these blessings are even more profound in the recent times of COVID crisis.

 I am grateful to the government for considering our cognizance and making the required amends to ease the process of acquiring ration cards for such homeless families. The amend to consider Voter ID card as the only pre-required document to process ration card applications of nomadic and de-notified communities has enabled thousands of families to access ration cards.

હાલના કપરા વખતમો તમે કઢઈ આલેલું આ કેડ જ કોમ આયું..

આજ કંટોલમોંથી ઘઉં, ચોખા, ખોડ અન દાળ મલી. હા મરચું અન તેલ મલ્યું હોત તો થોડી ઠીક રેત પણ હેડો ના મોમા કરતા કોણો મોમો હારો...'

VSSMના કાર્યકરોના પ્રયત્નોથી જેમને રેશનકાર્ડ મળ્યા છે તેવા હજારો લોકો આમ પણ આશિર્વાદ આપતા હોય છે પણ હાલની ઘડીમાં તો તેમના હૃદયમાંથી ખરા આશીષ નીકળે છે..

સરકારનો પણ આભાર માનુ છુ. વિચરતી જાતિઓને સહેલાથી રેશનકાર્ડ મળે તે માટે અમારી રજૂઆતના પગલે એમણે ફક્ત મતદારકાર્ડના આધારે રેશનકાર્ડ આપવાનો ઠરાવ કર્યો ને એના આધારે જ અમે હજારો લોકોને મતદારકાર્ડની જેમ જ રેશનકાર્ડ અપાવી શકેલા..

ખેર ઝડપથી આ કપરો કાળ માથેથી હટી જાય એવી પ્રાર્થના...
