ઘરવિહોણાની પીડામાંથી, પોતાનું ઘર થશે ને એમાં આસ્થાનો દિવો ઝળહળશે.”

In Salpipariya village of Rajkot, a new life has begun for six Gadaliya families. For years, these families lived on the outskirts of the village in tin-roofed shelters, without land of their own. The dream of having a home felt far beyond reach. Today, through the compassion of the village sarpanch Shri Sahdevsinh, the efforts of VSSM, the dedication of workers like our Kanubhai, and the cooperation of the District Collector and the administrative system, the dream of a home is now becoming a reality.

Everyone came together to obtain caste certificates and the necessary documents, which led to the allotment of residential plots. Now these families will no longer wander; they will live a settled life. A nomadic existence that continued for generations is coming to an end. They will finally have a roof of their own.

For these families, a home is not just a structure of bricks and mortar, but a source of dignity, security, and a foundation for their future. With the sensitive support of the Honorable Chief Minister, the goodwill of the sarpanch, the village community, and the administration, this became possible. These families have received not just plots of land, but renewed trust, hope, and pride through having a home of their own.

This change was made possible through collective effort. We hope that one day, all those who have lived a wandering life for centuries will also find a place they can truly call home.

રાજકોટના સાલપીપરિયા ગામમાં છ ગાડલિયા પરિવારો માટે જાણે નવા જીવનનો આરંભ થયો. વર્ષોથી ગામના છેવાડે પતરાના ઘરોમાં રહેતા આ પરિવારોને પોતાની જમીન ન હતી, ઘરનું સ્વપ્ન તો જોજનો દૂર લાગતું. આજે ગામના સરપંચ શ્રી સહદેવસિંહની લાગણી, VSSM ના પ્રયત્નો ને અમારા કનુભાઈ જેવા કાર્યકરોની નિષ્ઠા, તેમજ જિલ્લા કલેક્ટરશ્રી અને વહીવટી તંત્રના સહકારથી ઘરનું સ્વપ્ન હવે સાકાર થવાનું.

જાતિપ્રમાણપત્ર અને જરૂરી દસ્તાવેજો કાઢવવામાં સૌએ સાથે મળીને પ્રયત્નો કર્યા. ત્યારે જતા પ્લોટ મળ્યા. હવે તેઓ ભટકતા નહીં રે, સ્થાયી જીવન જીવશે. પેઢીઓથી ચાલતા રઝળપાટનો હવે અંત આવશે. પોતાની છત મળશે.

આ પરિવારો માટે ઘર ફક્ત ઈંટ-ગારાનું મકાન નથી, પણ સૌ આદરથી જુએ તેમજ તેમની સુરક્ષા અને ભવિષ્યનો આધાર છે. મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીના સંવેદનશીલ સહકારથી, સરપંચની, ગામની લાગણી અને તંત્રના સદભાવથી આ શક્ય બન્યું. આ પરિવારોને માત્ર પ્લોટ નહીં, પણ નવો વિશ્વાસ, આશા અને ગૌરવ- ઘર થકી મળશે.
